Los Amorachinis son pequeños seres malvados de un solo ojo, algunos de ellos con aspecto de bebé, que juegan en las Nubes Negras de las Tormentas. Se dice que tienen tal puntería que podrían incendiar cualquier casa con uno de sus rayos hechos en el Volcán Gasco.

The Amorachinis are small one-eye evil beings, some of them looking like babies, who play on the Black Storm Clouds. It is said that they have such aim that they could set fire to any house with one of their thunderbolts made in the Gasco Volcano.

All the vocals were sampled from the Jane Siberry track, The Vigil, a haunting song about her father. I wanted the vocals to be similarly haunting but not discernible in terms of the original lyrics, like the music from dreams that is familiar but somehow not able to be recalled when awake.

‘ZZZZZzzzzzz’ aims to translate spoken word and percussion-based ASMR recordings and performative videos into music. Using these binaural raw audio materials the project utilizes algorithmic synthesis, filtering, and vocoders to transform the material into immersive harmonic structures.
