This mix again, mostly using cue points for drops rather than 32 bar mixing. It's handy for hardstyle and this style of music. This mix represents the hard side of hardstyle and uptempo music. Enough kick drums to cause an earthquake! I love this stuff. It's hard from the opening track to the very last. Again, can't really pick a favourite. Maybe Adaro & Vertile, Rebelion, Fraw, or maybe even Rawframerz.

After discovering hardtrance from the overdose.de website back in the 00’s…mike soon invested in a pair of 1210’s & began collecting hardtrance tracks.

Hardstyle then entered his game in 2007 and after upgrading to digital,making & distributing mixes,mike landed a residency at the hardstyle legion,now known as the mighty GIS,who are still going strong after 16 long years!

This residency saw him play clubs & festivals all over the UK & twice in ibiza,by himself & as half of the rawstyle/gabber duo System Terminated alongside Joe Hall…playing amongst & alongside many of the big names…international,UK & upcoming.

Taking a step back from hardstyle in the mid 2010’s…mike then branched out to  different genres…mainly hardcore techno,trance & house,evolving his mixes & broadening his mind to the many other sounds that are to be discovered.

Now…after finding this new hybrid of hard dance dubbed as ‘hard techno’ ,mikes love for playing the harder,faster beats has returned…often starting at a fast pace,finishing in a hardcore techno setting whilst including a wide variety of heavy kicks & a combination of familiar genres inbetween…guaranteed to at least get a head nod to the kicks.
