A mysterious experimental IDM meets Cyberpunk Bass Music track evoking a sense of darkness and dystopia. Inspired by the works of LORN, witch house,  melodic dubstep, and my own personal experiments.

Crack The Sky

Set myself a tiny challenge... make a little mini track using the current free @minimal-audio
 deals (cypher sample pack and feedback lite) and just a few stock #flstudio fx plugins. No other samples or synths were used.

The two melodic sounds were made by simply placing some of the percussions in the rhythm of the melody, and playing the melody by tuning the feedback plugin.

Both the basses were made with the included cypher samples, using cross-fade and sample trimming to make them loop.

All drums were also from the currently free cypher pack, and like I said aside from stock effects, mostly for EQ, compression, side-chaining or limiting that the only third party VST effect I used was Feedback lite, which is insanely worth picking up rn. 👀
