Second and last single of "Ghost 2", the second album that never was. This is the story of a fallen angel who redeems herself by saving our hero the Trepanador, who then is able to escape the underworld.

"Ghost" es el primer disco de Fat & the Gang. Fue grabado durante el 2012. Lo hicimos a través de internet, ya que cada uno de nosotros vive en ciudades diferentes. El disco cuenta la historia del Trepanador, un hombre que, como muchos de nosotros, lo único que pedía en la vida era ser amado por la persona que amaba.

ENGLISH:

"Ghost" is Fat & the Gang's debut album. It was recorded in 2012. The songs were put together by sending files back and forth through internet. That was the only way to do it as all of us live in different cities. Still, it was great fun. The album tells the story of the Trepanador, a man who like many of us only wanted one thing out of life: to be loved by the person he loved.

Les presento "Volar", nuestro nuevo sencillo. La canción está inspirada en la historia de un piloto argentino que lucho en la guerra del Atlántico sur.  En mayo de 1982, en pleno desarrollo del conflicto armado, la mujer del piloto recibió autorización para visitarlo en el sur del país, donde estaba la base. El piloto no pudo tomarse licencia, tuvo que seguir peleando. Durante el día salía en misión sabiendo que su mujer lo esperaba en la base, si regresaba con vida. Siempre me pregunté qué le habrá pasado por la cabeza a ese hombre mientras volaba en silencio al ras del mar rumbo a las islas. “Volar” no es una canción política. Es, acaso, una canción de amor.

This is "Volar", our new single. The song tells the story of an Argentine pilot who fought in the South Atlantic war in the 80s. In May 1982, the pilot's wife got the green light to go visit him in the South of the country, where he was stationed. The pilot could not take any days off, he had to carry on fighting. I always wondered what must have gone through that man’s head sitting alone in the cockpit, having just kissed his wife good-bye but not knowing whether he would see her again. “Volar” is not a political song. If anything, it is a love song.
