Father's Child is an independent rock band, working hard to attain recognition in the rock scene. originally formed in 2003 in Rotterdam (the Netherlands), they now consist of frontman Timothy Bax (lead vocals, piano/synthesizers, rhythm guitar, songwriter, composer, executive producer), Jeremy van Munster (bass), Vincent Hoppen (lead guitar, backing vocals, co-o-writer, composer, producer). Influenced by bands such as Alter Bridge, Creed, Black Stone Cherry, Transatlantic, Pink Floyd, Dream Theater, Kings of Leon, Linkin' Park and Pillar, they have developed a solid, intense and fresh sound. This combined with moving lyrics has resulted in their style varying from grunchy, technical hardrock songs to touching (rock) ballads.
