Lesson 1 - Aqeedhathul Waasithiyya

Salawat for Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه و سلم) at the beginning of  "Miuraaj Mawlood" sung by Abdulla Hassan (Holhudhoo Ablo). The Mawlood is about Prophet Muhammad's Isra and Mi'raj journey and was sung all around the Maldives, along with several other Mawloods and Salawat.

This one is said to be written by Ahmed Shakir (Bahaaree Ge), and apparently reciting it was banned by the government during the 70s, as part of a larger campaign to change traditional Islamic practices and beliefs in favor of new ones accepted by the ruling elite and clergy.

This is the seerah of Muhammad SAW broadcasted every Ramazan on MBC Dhivehiraajjeyge Adu.

Komme Ramazan maheggai Dhivehiraajjeyge adun genesdhey keerithi rasoolaage siyarath.

I take no credit to the content or the recording of this important piece of work.

The author of the content is Almarhoom Shaikh Hussain Salahuddin.

The voice is of Almarhoom Mohamed Thowfeek (Haajaraage). He recorded "Keerithi Rasoolaage Siyarath" several times as a voluntary service to the people and country. It was first recorded in 1973 and last in 1992.
