Pressure Point - Retro Future EP

This is a live recording which I played at Club der Visionaere, Berlin on 6 August 2023. I played opening at the main floor at this special party, from 15:00 till 19:30 on Sunday afternoon. Mood :)

After more than three years of hiatus from DJing in clubs due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, this was my very first performance at an overseas party. It was truly an incredible party that lasted until Monday evening. 

Hope you enjoy my musical journey. Thanks to CDV and friends, and the guys who danced on the floor while I was playing!

今年の夏のBerlin、Club der Visionaereでのプレイをアップしました。素晴らしいラインナップの中、僕はこの日のメインフロアーのオープンを務めさせて頂きました。時間は日曜15:00からの4時間+、昼間のMixです。

2020年のコロナ禍以降、３年間以上クラブでのDJをストップしていました。これが僕のそれ以後初めての海外パーティーでのプレイとなります。月曜の夜まで続いたこのスペシャルパーティー、とにかく最高の１日でした！

Born in 1988, Pressure Point is an Italian DJ and producer who embarked on his musical journey at the age of 14, delving into the world of spinning records. Influenced by minimal and house music during his formative years, Pressure Point, also known as D:fferent Place, skillfully combines the essence of these genres in both his productions and carefully curated DJ sets.

His musical prowess quickly garnered recognition, with releases on esteemed labels such as Sol Asylum and Residual Recordings. In 2017, he took a significant step by founding his own label, Telharmonic Texture, which has showcased works from notable artists including Akufen, Paradroid, and Jeff Samuel.

Pressure Point's musical identity is characterized by a fusion of intricate sounds, complex groove compositions, randomized fast-paced beats, and a distinctively deep, melodic synthesis. His productions are enclosed for the large part; composed of synthesizers, modular synth, wonky sounds and nano-loops. All designed by sequencer step, triggers and creative impulses to create a harmonious, unsteady gait. 

Operating under the moniker D:fferent Place, Pressure Point introduces house influences to his signature style. In 2021, he collaborated with Christopher Ledger on a track released on Meander, and also unveiled an original EP on Pluie/Noir. With several remixes under his belt from the past year, Pressure Point anticipates the release of his 6th record under the D:fferent Place alias.
