One of my all time favorite songs, by my musical hero, the great...the fantastic....the macabre....Mr. Tom Waits.  This song is one of about 5 covers I know, and is 1 of 2 Tom Waits Songs I currently know (trying to learn more).  Hopefully someday I'll get to play a show with Mr. Waits, but until then, I'll stick to learning some more of his songs.

this is by far one of my best songs.  Not to mention that I have drums and bass on this (all parts played by me).  I wrote this song a whopping 6 years ago, while I was still in high school.  This is part of "Ponder The World", and it will probably not change that much.

Imaginary Friend

Another older song, felt the need to record something instead of watching TV, so I did as such.  This song is definately  one I love doing with a full band behind me, there is another recording of it up on www.myspace.com/wearethepulps as The Pulps was the band I was in when I wrote the song.  The other version has bass and drums behind me.

Jackson's musical experience didn't start all at once, he grew up around it.  His first memories of music are of holding his mother's classical guitar.  He has background in many instruments including guitar, bass, piano, accordion, banjo, ukulele, hand drum.  He also has invented the kazoogal, a combination between a kazoo and a bugal.  

Jackson compares his music to a painting, the base coat is folk music, but the rest is a mix of everything else he can find.
