From the farthest depths of the internet comes "Harina" to Fauna Reve. Mexican producer Bufi was in charge of creating a Hi-NRG / Digital Cumbia track for the eponymous streaming comedy show.

"Harina" is an electrifying cut, with solid drums, playful arpeggios, a spacey melody and electronic toms, mixed with samples of patrols, alarms and dialogues of lieutenant Prieto and commander Ramirez.

The journey continues for our beloved French inhouse artist, Kubebe. He returns once again to the Fauna Reve pit with "Power Plant", an EP loaded with a bunch of funk, discordant sounds and a bit of reggae vibe. 

The swirl of ideas that can lodge in Kubebe's consciousness is immense, from experimental creations created with noise generators, to internal tribal chases or relaxed atmospheres.
Kubebe’s most recent collaboration is with Italian, A-Tweed, in "The Garden" EP. In the past, the Lille-born producer collaborated with Bufi on the "Bufebe" EP.  Some of his productions live on labels such as Duro Label, Calypso Records, Feines Tier, Hard Fist Records. 

This new sonic odyssey from Kubebe will be available and ready to add to your collection starting September 2.

Straight from the depths of the Italian scene, A-Tweed and Oltrefuturo have materialized Morphism, a collaboration that makes its place as the fifteenth release under Fauna Reve’s main collection. Both artists have paved their way through some international electronic music labels such as Duro Label, Veneno, I Low You and Logical Records, with them also recently working together in the track “Neptune Lullaby” for whypeopledance’s compilation 'WhyPeopleWar - Fundraiser for Ukraine vol.1 & vol.2'.

A journey through some of electronic’s most intriguing passages and endeavors, full of hypnotizing cosmic paraphernalia, Morphism lifts off with “Axis Tilt Winter”, an opener track which perfectly settles the album’s whole atmosphere: dark, mysterious rhythms meeting with synthesizers of a glowing, metallic shine. “Beta Morphism” carves deep into the mind with its powerful percussions and sharp edge synths, while “Taipanic Bite” makes its way with a glowing and scheming exploration of depth and bass.

The trip nears the end with the powerful, percussion-driven “Treeball Alpaka”, a track that sculpts a tight passageway of metallic, futuristic sounds and haunting voices with a sense of menace, and finally settles down with an upbeat, lively remix of this last track, like the enactment of a last-minute escape at the speed of light, out of the mind and hands of Coast2Mago, one of Mexican DJ Theus Mago’s many monikers now with modular producer, coast2c. 

Morphism, a work of A-Tweed & Oltrefuturo, and Fauna Reve’s newest release, is a piece that takes glowing movements out of the darkest corners of the night, and won’t pass undetected by connoisseurs of these phenomena.

Bufi & Kubebe return to Fauna Reve with their second collaborative EP "Sternana". This production is composed of five original tracks that present a fusion of urban rhythms with sticky basslines, booming drums and resonant, psychedelic and melting sounds.

The release opens with "El Jockey", a collaboration with the talented Portuguese singer Abrao. Together, they created a hypnotic and powerful track, full of glitches and sound caves. Abrao's voice takes you on a surreal journey and envelops you with a feeling of mysticism.

"Sternana" is the second track on the EP, a collaboration with the talented Livia. It's a mixture of urban electronics and street sounds that takes you through alleys full of punctured drums, resonant sounds, snare rolls and Latin rhythms.

The rhythm twists with "Aguachile Dembow", a cut that fuses psychedelia with dembow rhythm. This track has a powerful energy that makes you feel like you're at a street party. Synths blend with deep basslines and psychedelic vocals to take you through an amazing sound experience.

"Llooccaa" is the next track on the EP. This cut features deep and rumbling basslines while pizzicato guitars, cut vocals, and synths push you down. Finally, the EP closes with "Cicatriz", a mixture of oriental sounds with urban rhythms, melting and sweaty basslines.

Bufi & Kubebe - Sternana EP

Supercontinent is back with "María Locomía." After a hiatus during which each member focused on individual creative projects, Supercontinent returned with a new release. The musical quartet formed by Theus Mago, Juan Soto, Dan Solo and Thomass Jackson are back with the release of their new EP, marking their highly anticipated return to the stage after a period of silence.

"María Locomía" consists of four electronic tracks, where Supercontinent maintains their unique and irreverent style. The release kicks off with "María Locomía," a track that envelops you in a sonic odyssey from the first chords. It is followed by "El Rancho," a psychedelic electronic track with a slight disco touch featuring melted pianos, playful percussions, and distorted guitars.

To close the EP, there are two versions of "Connect." The original version is a funky track with psychedelic sounds, a solid rhythmic base, and mind-blowing vocal arrangements. The "Supermix" is a more dancefloor-oriented version.

The french artist Dombrance continues his series of tracks and songs inspired by politicians.

"These are not political songs, I just get inspired by their names and personality" says the producer on an interview with French TV.

In collaboration with Bufi, this is the first time Dombrance uses a non-french politician, choosing the recently elected Mexican president Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AKA AMLO) and his controversial personality as his victims. Mockery or hommage? Is up to you to decide.

The single is complemented by a dreamy "Tulum" and magnificent re interpretations from in-house artists Mijo & Perfect Lovers, and Ambiance.

Nico Kubebe, the Lille based producer and member of Volcan La Pété, makes his solo debut with an exotic EP on Fauna Rêve. 

In Kubebe's FM Jungle, we take a bath of flames. Wild pet and breathless groove lover, his debut ep is the riverbed on which we lie down to fly away, beyond the waterfalls and the stars.

Fauna Rêve welcomes Rina, Benji and the Megaphonim duo, 4 producers/Dj’s From Tel Aviv that are constantly expanding the boundaries of electronica by creating unique and modern interpretations of dance music.

“Ani Cham” is a sweaty summer jam made with old Roland and Casio synths that talks about going back to night life. “I'm hot, I'm humid, I'm here. Dancing till the break of dawn” recites a voice while ready for a wild night in the city.

On the remix area, fellow citizen and collaborator Middle Sky Boom delivers a celular multi-dimensional laid back eclectic psychedelic take on the track, while Omri Smadar takes the club duties shooting the song straight to peak-time dancefloor levels.

Supercontinent is the new project of the 4 super producers Juan Soto, Bufi, Dan Solo and Thomass Jackson, created in 2018 with the intention of being a live electronic music band. Influenced by disco, psychedelia, techno and even rock, Supercontinent is made for the dancefloor and home listening.

The satirical and funny lyrics show the imagination of the members, nourished by a grey and absurd humour.

Since their inception, the band had performed in several cities in Mexico as well at the Trópico Festival.

After two singles released (‘Nada’ and ‘Seductoria’), this new EP brings us 3 eclectic dance tracks inspired by common and random situations -approaching the accidental- and their deep meanings.

‘Bufebe' is the name of the newest EP from Mexican producer Bufi and mysterious Lille producer Kubebe, member of the electronic band, Volcan La Peté.

This new work consists of 5 original tracks and was created completely online. During these last months the producers took turns and shared files to work on the tracks projects, which are inspired by birds, bicycles and insects.

The EP is a mix of organic and synthesized percussions, drowsy and mysterious melodies and psychedelic landscapes, creating an amazing jungle of sounds. The cover was made by Parisian artist Anne-Marie Gratton.

Fauna Rêve was born in 2020, but it was actually conceived years ago. In a remote town in the Mexican jungle, a group of teenagers gathered to find new and different realities, far from the temporary. No one knew that in those long nights the germ of future and distant adventures had been planted.
 
It is difficult to deny that the overexposure to transforming agents such as psychedelic rock, rave culture and proto-tech-mex left an irreversible mark on the incipient personalities of our protagonists. 

Time later, the label was born between dark and distorted memories of the jungle, the wildlife, the chemicals, the synthetic tones, the electric guitars and the slow sunrises, which  finally did not stop feeling like an ancient deja vú.
