Teaser in your Eyes (Demo version for piano solo)

Fausto Bisantis: Musicista, compositore, musicologo e giornalista. Inizia a studiare pianoforte a 12 anni, chitarra a 15, militando in diverse formazioni, tra Catanzaro e Roma.
Ha collaborato come compositore per il Teatro Ateneo, Don Orione, Centro Polivalente; ha scritto anche le musiche per diversi documentari commissionati dalla Regione Calabria e il Comune di Gimigliano (CZ).
Nel 2004 si laurea in Scienze della comunicazione, presso l’Università “ La Sapienza”- indirizzo “Semiologia della musica”, con il Professor Federico Del Sordo, (Santa Cecilia), grazie a una tesi sperimentale sullo sviluppo della musica contemporanea; dall’avanguardia al rock psichedelico.
Nel 2005 viene selezionato per un master di Teoria e tecniche del linguaggio radiofonico presso gli studi di Rai Radio Tre, acquisendo diverse esperienze nel campo redazionale, ma anche nella conduzione e regia dei programmi.
Dal 2001 al 2006, studia alla Scuola di Musica Popolare di Testaccio, Pianoforte, sintetizzatori, armonia e composizione con i maestri: Carlo Mezzanotte (Syntaxis e Indaco) e Giovanni Guaccero, con Stefano Cenci (Tastierista di Luca Barbarossa). Nel 2008 frequenta i corsi di canto con il pianoforte con il Maestro Maurizio Carnelli, armonia jazz e improvvisazione con Davide Santorsola, presso l’Accademia di Musica delle “Scuole Civiche di Milano”, ottenendo l’attestato europeo di Maestro accompagnatore per il palcoscenico, il teatro e la danza.
Dal 2008 a oggi, collabora come maestro collaboratore con il teatro Politeama di Catanzaro.
Sempre nel 2008 diventa giornalista, collaborando con diverse testate specialistiche e non (Il Giornale della Musica, Ars Musicae, Al teatro.org, Calabria News, Il Piccolissimo, Obiettivo Calabria etc.).
Dal 2013 al 2016 è stato direttore responsabile del mensile di cultura e spettacolo “Tag” ed Eurekarte”.
Dal 2018 insegna pianoforte e tastiere in varie scuole private, nella provincia di Como.
Da anni è impegnato nella ricerca stilistica di nuovi territori musicali, grazie al progetto Faust & Malchut Orchestra; un “pover” trio, capace di attingere a diversi stili e repertori senza prendersi troppo sul serio; dal Blues alla psichedelia, dal funk al progressive secondo una concezione puramente sinfonica e orchestrale all’interno del rock. 
Il percorso musicale del compositore calabrese comprende quattro album solisti, due con la band e diverse collaborazioni con esibizioni in tutta Italia, Germania, Francia e Gran Bretagna.
La clausura dovuta alla pandemia e i problemi personali e di salute sono stati trasformati dal musicista  in un nuovo album solista dal Titolo The Nothingman, realizzato tra Catanzaro, Milano e Como, uscito su tutte le piattaforme digitali e pubblicato solo in vinile nel 2022.

Fausto "Faust" Bisantis
