Discos Capablanca return with a record from the mysterious Detroit-based Sharif Laffrey (we know little more than his place of birth, and that he likes to ride his bike and warm weather) who brings the heat on the Turn It Up 12". Recorded in Detroit in the late 80s and released on a cassette tape compilation in 1988, the original "Turn It Up" is a long forgotten gem from the period that Electro was beginning to morph and mutate into nascent forms of Techno. Excavated by Hugo Capablanca's label, the track is presented in an edited version that stays true to the original and complemented by an Acid Dub Not Dub version that implements plenty of deranged 303 action.

(SPA) Los djs y productores italianos Younger Than Me dan un giro en su trayectoria apostando por un sonido más positivo y vitalista, que se mueve entre el pasado y el presente. Tanto en sus producciones como en sus sets, aunque actuales en sus estructuras, se respira un característico aire a los noventa en sus sonidos y ritmos. Su juventud clubber y raver les ha marcado, y este BAR003, junto a Jeans, es un testimonio de una época en la que cada vez que entraban a la pista lo hacían con una sonrisa, energía y mentalidad positiva. 

Nosotros estrenamos el track BaRave, donde se perciben claras referencias a los locos sonidos flúor de los noventa made in Madchester. De ambientación tan inquietante como luminosa, este track consigue transportarnos hacia el infinito. Pura revitalización.

(ENG) The Italian DJs and producers Younger Than Me give me a turn in their career betting on a more positive and vital sound, which moves between the past and the present. As much in its productions as in its sets, although current in its structures, one breathes a characteristic air to the nineties in its sounds and rhythms. His youth clubber and raver has marked them, and this BAR003, together with Jeans, is a testimony of a time when every time they entered the track they did it with a smile, energy and positive mentality.

We premiered the BaRave track, where clear references to the crazy fluorine sounds of the nineties made in Madchester are perceived. Of atmosphere as disturbing as luminous, this track manages to transport us towards infinity. Pure revitalization.

Ric Piccolo (The man from Pampas)is an Argentine music producer and Dj who explores different genres such as Disco, Wave, House and Rare Grooves with experimental/leftfield concepts.
He is also digger, reworker and remixer of all obscure gems from the Argentine 70’s and 80’s scene with his mix series PampasDiscoShock and his 12” releases series AustralWorks and The Sound Of Pampas.
As a Dj, his style ranges from obscure Disco madness to the most innovative current sounds for the dancefloor. His Freestyle sets are always remembered.

Furor Exótica is an Argentinian Disco/House duo from Buenos Aires, formed in 2013 by the vocalist Viky O. and the producer Ric Piccolo.
Furor Exótica live sets combine jamming vocals with floating rhythms and synthesizers, for a non-stop dancing atmosphere.
