An outstanding musician that quite a few years ago planted a seed that through the years of event experiments and music excavations flourished into the “Kimokeye EP” influenced by the grooves of African melodies, raw vocal snippets with a final touch of uplifting variety of FM synths. With a spicy addition of a darker progressive side to the title track, remixed by Jack Priest.

PREMIERE : Romain Fx - Hmmmm

He dreaded the morning after the night before; he was no stranger to these feelings of melancholy and anxiety. Despite the knowledge of such impending doom, it never seemed to stop him, or anyone else he rubbed shoulders with for that matter. During those moments of elation, stints of euphoria and unrequited love, it all seemed worth it. But as with anything, what goes up must come down...

Following recent releases from Club Bizarre and Aurum Miles, Blindetonation boss Kezokichi steps up for the first time on his own imprint with two original tracks backed up by remixes from Freudenthal and Arthur Johnson. The Tokyo-based producer and DJ has built up a cult following through his distinct take on hypnotic electronic sounds via both his label and his own Back To Back events thrown during his time living in London. His new EP titled Ess Tie flaunts these signature sounds, moving through eerie, tripped-out rhythms, cosmic atmospheres and deep rugged bass lines.

“Once upon a time, long ago, there lived at Treva, a wonderful old lady deeply skilled in necromancy. Her charms, spells, and dark incantations made her the terror of the neighbourhood.
Arriving at the church stile, they used to rest the corpse, and there stood the hare, which, as soon as the clergyman began, "I am the resurrection and the life," uttered a diabolical howl then the corpse would change into a black, unshaped creature, and disappeared.”

Starting off the EP is RFX, with a groovy mystical disco pearl of the faraway desert.
Second, we have a rework from Native Red of the infamous track that you know to sing but probably don’t remember where you heard it.
For the second edit from Native Red, we have a dark cinematic banger for some spooky vibe.
And last but not least, a very rare psychedelic gem RFX has dug up which closes the EP in with a rite of passage.

The release pursues a colourful and emotive sense of charm. Cascade of keys and moody synths with an underlying sense of worldly rhythm that ties it all together.There are long legged and laid back grooves to get you slowly bumping, and more punchy tracks that get hands in the air and the good times flowing. Warm chords, pillowy pads roll through Volantis' productions like a breeze. 
A combination of the producer's imagination and the sensation of exploring, using a variety of 80's and 90's influences.

Notte a Pretoria

Do tourist guides suggest you to dance all night long in Pretoria? I woke up in our flat and I was quite stunned and sore. Nicodemo wasn’t there, but this is another story. Pantsula dance is pretty demanding but for South Africa culture is so huge. That bar on the terrace was sick. Sitting in the darkness of this small place, an old woman predicted we would have missed the way back.

His home and studio - an exquisite apartment set upon three floors, located in the city's first and oldest quarter - became a trove of all of his sculpted creations. The rooms, fitted with large opaque windows that stretched out across tall, off-white walls, were filled with over 200 sculptures of varying sizes, some made of chalk and some generated from now unfortunately oxygenated bronze. The statues, in pure neo-Renaissance style, depicted an array of classical figures enacting diverse hedonistic activities. Some were drinking, some dancing and others were coily sharing a delicate romantic moment, all coming together in a great, immobile gathering.

Playground Records celebrates its 30th release with label co-founder Martin Noise's newest output. The four-track EP, titled DUI, features two original productions and two remixes by Bufi and Middle Sky Boom. Today we share the latter's remix of 'Pis Turístic', an organic, quasi-ritualistic track that features entrancing percussion and a mesmerising bassline that is perfectly accompanied by fluttering synths.
