This time we dug a little deeper, with a class selector who we believe will get the international recognition she deserves in only a matter of time!

@geneva_ulyanova is a rising DJ, born in Latvia and based in Moscow. She’s been working as a creative director and is a fervent music lover. Endless digging led to her first set a year ago. Today, she’s performed in most of the main music venues in Moscow and fully intends to keep traveling worldwide to share her digs.

Being a huge fan of eclectic sounds, Geneva is always bold in mixing genres and times. Her mix for the Tiger Tapes goes to show - it's high in energy, inspired by 80s/early 90s sounds, blending fresh beats full of international rhythms.

Khidja is not a DJ group, but rather a duo of electronic music producers from Romania, consisting of Andrei Rusu and Florentin Tudor. They have been making music together since 2011 and have gained a reputation for their unique and innovative sound, which draws inspiration from a wide range of musical styles, from jazz to industrial, post punk to techno. 

Khidja's music is characterized by its hypnotic rhythms, intricate textures, and eclectic mix of analog and digital sounds. 

Khidja has released music on a number of respected electronic music labels, including DFA Records, Malka Tuti, and Hivern Discs. They have also remixed tracks for artists such as Red Axes, Billy Cobham, Man Jumping or Plus Instruments.

In addition to their work as producers, Khidja are also highly regarded as DJs, known for their eclectic and unpredictable sets that blend together a wide range of musical genres and styles. They have played at clubs and festivals across Europe and beyond, including Panorama Bar in Berlin, Nuits Sonores in Lyon, and Dekmantel in Amsterdam.

Overall, Khidja is a duo of talented and innovative electronic music producers who have made a significant impact on the contemporary dance music scene. Their music is highly regarded by critics and fans alike, and they continue to push the boundaries of electronic music with their unique sound and vision.

For this special mix, Khidja has selected the BMW 850 CSi, a high-performance grand tourer produced from 1992 to 1996. The 850 CSi boasts a powerful 5.6-liter V12 engine that can produce up to 380 horsepower, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 6 seconds. DJ, producer, broadcaster, music writer, promoter; Sibson (UK/PT) is a man of many hats. He started out playing punk records in the sticky basements of his northern English hometown, Leeds, honed his craft running selector parties in London and is currently based in Lisbon with his clubnight COMANDANTE (comandante.pt), co-running a vinyl label called Balearic Ensemble and hosting monthly residencies on Palestine’s Radio Alhara and LOOSE FM in London. 

His sound calls on percussive rarities, cosmic stompers, hair-raising dub, touches of EBM and moody, low-slung rock & roll locked firmly on the dancefloor. 

Sibson has achieved a following with his Elevator Edits, a series of hard-to-find disco reworks that reshape eclectic global sounds for the dancefloor. His own productions have been described as "King Tubby at the controls of a Mexican mariachi band; Paul Weller kissing the Kosmos with Brendan Lynch; Weatherall & Nicolson rejigging Galliano" and his machine-assisted cosmic style has been premiered on Dream Chimney, whypeopledance, and Les Yeux Orange. 

Mikey also runs London’s Elevator East party, an underground gathering of heads that offers the chance to hear eclectic, no-holds-barred selections from trailblazing new talent and legends alike. Previous guests include Sean Johnston (A Love From Outer Space), Leo Mas (Amnesia Ibiza), Don Carlos, Nancy Noise, On The Corner Records, Ric Piccolo (Bordello A Parigi / Soundway), Pardonnez-Nous and Nik Weston (Mukatsuku).

We met her around a weirdo but really fun open air in Nantes this past summer, ending by playing a b2b2b2b with her, Romain FX & Youps, on literally no sub but it was still really fun hehe (yeaaaa it can be possible 🤙). 

Geneva is a pretty new but exciting name, she recently moved in Paris and joined the @fauverecords team some months ago, and already played for the infamous Gloria series in Macadam. We stayed in touch after our last time in Nantes and she kindly wrote us to propose us an hour of how she imagines a Vitamin-ish podcast, and you can trust us it’s really really good ! 90´s infused with some old school ravy piano, sexy vocals and tribal percussions : a well known recipe, a real signature 🖌️
