"Silv'ahn," the new EP by Martinou, is a deep exploration of artistic expression. Drawing inspiration from field recordings in Sweden's Skåne region, Martinou forges a connection with the natural world, amplifying the essence of stone, salt, and wood. The result is a signature Martinou style: minimal yet emotionally resonant tracks built on a mysteriously pulsating groove.

Our premiere today, "Boulder Ridge," is propelled by a robust, rumbling groove underpinning a subtle synth sequence and a melancholic yet simple melody that burrows into your mind from the first listen.

"Silv'ahn" EP is coming out on March 29 via Melifera Records.

In this mix, we listen to a soundtrack created by Ben Kaczor & Lb Honne for this year's Altar Installation at Barcelona's MIRA Festival, which took place on the 8th and 9th of November 2024. The work was combined with an installation designed by Penique Productions & Oscar Zabala.

We are very proud that we are allowed to release this great record. The swedish producer has provided us with these 5 fantastic atmospheric tracks for release. The EP will be available as 100 limited coloured vinyl in a great colour and the classic black one.
The picture of the cover was taken by the artist himself with an analogue camera. The design was done by the legendary Alex Ketzter. Look forward to what's coming.

Slade is part of Alquimica Records, a collective and creative concept dedicated to bringing a dynamic African and Latin electronic sound to the heart of Europe. He is also involved in Show and Tell Records, a Berlin-based label run with close friends. Beyond music, Slade organizes gatherings and events and spends time painting under the alias visceraltints
