We welcome London-based selectors Rosie Cain & Nadia Harris aka Kiara Scuro to join the label family, kicking off the 2025 year with their debut EP Night Crush.

The pair are well established DJ’s and have been on the European festival circuit for several years already, having also held down long standing residences at Rinse FM and Balamii before that.

Night Crush delivers 3 low-end focussed rolling club tools. Each track captures a huge sense of scale with shimmering delayed vocals and ethereal synths focussed around rhythmic rolling bass lines.

Words from Kiara Scuro:
For this EP we took inspiration from our favourite club memories across our 8 year journey as a duo. As we hadn’t known each other long before we started djing together, our friendship was formed over hazy nights gigging in some incredible places. We used a mixture of our own vocals and samples to conjure up an image of those late night club sets where the mist is flowing from the smoke machine and no one cares what time is, it’s always Witching Hour. We wrote the first two tracks originally, over and over until they became stripped away with barely any melody, so there’s nothing to carry you through, you can just get lost in the weirdness. Track 3, Zeki’s Dream, was written when Nadia was at the end of her pregnancy, inspired by her Lebanese roots, it’s a dedication to her son. All three tracks are tied together with the same group of drum sounds / percussive elements.

Our friends Kiara Scuro, the London-based duo made up of Rosie Ama and Nadia Harris, have built up a repertoire of spooky tracks over the last few years for the likes of fabric Originals, Ritmo Fatale and Accidental Meetings.

After hunkering down in the studio last year, they're now joining the Faux Poly family for their debut EP, Night Crush. Layering their own vocals with samples, the pair deliver three percussive, rolling club tools that draw inspiration from late, hazy nights spent together in the club; the place where their friendship blossomed.
