Superluminal is the second single from the Lost Tapes EP, a collection of tracks which didn't fit on previous releases but I couldn't get out of my head. They all had a common sound and fit together really well, so I decided to rework and re-record them – that's how this EP was born. Hope you like it!

I wanted to try something special and recorded a very reduced live version of „Ascent“ using just a 120-year-old grand piano, a 30-year-old analog synth and a quite new reverb. Everything was done live in one take, no overdubs - hope you like it!

When I wrote „Beacon“ earlier this year, I also recorded a reduced live version using my piano, the trusty Jupiter 6 synth and a Roland RE501 tape echo. Really happy to share the video of this performance with you now, everything was done live in one take, no overdubs - hope you like it!

Receiving satellite signals from cinematic scores and emotive post-rock, Faux Tales paints a dystopian picture. Otherworldly pianos and hyper-realistic bass music land his sound in a world of its own, suspended in clouds of electronic and neoclassical sonance.
