MIND EXPRESSION

I recorded these, using only the Roland T8 drum machine, outside as it got dark.
The first one I did at the beach in Crete (130 bpm) and the second one, a week later, in a park in Vienna (120bpm).
These spontaneous sessions are so much fun, specially at such beautiful places.

a modern take on Come With Me with stutter-house vibes. I’ve blended lush melodic textures with a deeper, club-ready energy. It’s both a respectful nod to the original and a fresh reinvention for today’s dance floors.

My last single Hey How Are You picked up support from industry heavyweights including Joseph Capriati, Richie Hawtin, DJ Brisk, Kenny Brain, Don Diablo, Gregori Klosman, DJ Ross, Raffa FL, and Sergio Matina.

This one dives a little deeper while staying true to my melodic sound.

“Calor”, produced by both, is the summary of many days tinkering with exceptional machines, until we find a forceful and meandering sound, which manages to filter through every pore of the skin until we are completely electrified. The track is a playful but coherent, intense, energetic collection, where both producers play with us on every note, until we are hypnotized and moved away to another galaxy for an instant.

David Meyer is a DJ based in Madrid. His influences range from EBM to Italo, Disco and Dark Wave. Synthetic melodies and deep basses are predominant in his sets, always accompanied by a dark atmosphere.

Meyer is resident DJ at Phoenix, located in the city center, and has also performed at the famous Berlin Club on the Switch sessions where figures such as Curses, Younger than Me, Nick Monaco and Damon Jee have left their mark.
