So lately i've been binging a few playlists: one is a deep house playlist and the other is a playlist that includes acts like The Midnight, which have blown me away. This track combines elements of house, deep house, and synthwave and includes both a brief breakdown and a very brief drop.

Cydonia

Soundwax dj collective member. Holding residency and running an event series called Jardin Exotique at Opium club together with his friends Quaint and Juan Abures. A new club called Rūsys was opened one month ago with the help of his enormous enthusiasm.  He’s very much involved in the Vilnius night life. Next up in the series is Lowe Aka User.

Christian Ceiling ✰ MIND EXPRESSION #8

We have two debuts on our platform today, peeps: The Swedish DJ and producer Robert Folkesson aka The Machine Soul and the Berlin-based label EKORD. Brought to us by an SXDNS-veteran, Högt I Tak (SXDNS179), who contributed to the release with one of the remixes (the second one made with love by Mindbender), “Decker” combines an electronic, yet very organic sonority, yarning for something deeper – that longing for a feeling that should last forever, but bound to echo out as the last lights goes off. It is also a layered story, where the initial sparseness opens to a rich harmonic soundscape as the track progress.

Janne Berglund aka Högt I Tak, Gothenburg's own psychedelic overlord, takes a totally different approach through his “AcidIsFun” version. In his own interpretation of the story, “Deker” is now clad with an energetic acid electro attire. Sheer elegance and brilliance! This beast is literally dressed to kill, and imagining it being played out loud at a packed dance floor brings us a mixture of joy and sadness due to the hard times we have been living on. If only we could.

A night drive in a city full of lights, a slow, hypnotic and powerful beat coming from a smoky club. This is the sound of Amarcord, a young musician, DJ and Live Performer also active in the experimental circuit. His music shows a profound love for both the Krautrock and New Wave sounds of the 70’s, re-imagined from the eye of the modern waves of electronic and dance music. 
Amarcord’s productions have been appreciated and supported by some of the most influential taste-makers in the underground club scene, from legends like Andrew Weatherall and Laurent Garnier to to the new generation acts and he had the opportunity to play in some of the most important venues across Europe and beyond.
After some well received releases on influential labels as Ombra International (in which he features regularly), Correspondant, ROAM and AEON, Amarcord is currently working on his first Album while a new EP on Me Me Me Records will see the light of day before the end of the year. Animated by an unstoppable need for music making and passion this young artist is just at the beginning of his exploration into a personal and ever stimulating sonic world.
