It's been a busy year for TheBasement Disco's and they show no sign of taking the foot off the disco gas with the release of a pumper of a four track EP from Spanish producer Kostrok which includes remixes from Tilman and Kid Simius. Rock solid dancefloor grooves all round on this one. Saint Petersburg duo Alexander Temnikov and Valery Melekhin produce an eclectic raw electronic album tinged with IDM lofi elements and complex broken beats. Taking in elements of various genres while at the same time producing tracks that are truly authentic and novel.

пацаны44 translates into ‘’Patsany44’’ or in english’ ’boys44”. The true meaning is more nuanced and can be read as ‘’guys from the street, hood guys, hooligans, friends’’. The name is meant to represent the duos upbringing in the city of Sverdlovsk 44, which is located in the Urals, built around a uranium plant.

The duo was inspired by music engendering the end of 90's early 00's such as IDM,DnB and traditional electronics from that time frame.The creative output and vision of electronic music which inspires this album bears the imprint of that experience.

The meeting point had been a hot topic of discussion for several months. They had to choose a public location which would not be guarded under the close scrutiny of cameras or watchful eyes. The exchange would take place, money would be swapped for a suitcase and the whole horrible deed would be concluded. At least that was how it should play out upon paper. Nothing ever went to plan in such circumstances, not for people like them in a town like this. 

Jaunt Records are celebrating ten years in business with an assortment of new music coming from all corners. Stojche appears on a new EP for the label drawing for deep dubby pads and crafty drums.

Meatsteel started in 2015 as the largest series of Subsist Records and as the best showcase to showcase our extensive link with the electronic society, a reciprocal concept with artists that has valued primarily the genuineness of the work before factors such as the trajectory of the author. But although there are many important names that have appeared in each of the series, Meatsteel conceives an equitable model with producers and style amplifying the radio in both fields to supply the project with diversity versus popularity and linearity. 

Meatsteel was born with a prescription, with an expiration granted from the first minute to 6 chapters divided into 10 references that exceed the nature of extensive releases, and the last bullet is fired with the sixth and last part, 25 tracks distributed in a first and a second course that, unlike the rest, are published simultaneously.
