k this track was good but the problem was that it used the wrong instruments. i mean the drums are good but everything else is just pure ear-rape. glad they fixed it in the 2011 remake of the game

This was really fun to do. The drum pattern was a bit hard to replicate by ear, but I know for certain that I nailed it. I hope you all enjoy my personal favorite tune from the classic 2D Sonic games. :D

I also gave it a bit of the "Tee Lopes" effect. ;)

OHHHHH BOY.

This song has to be one of my favorite classic Sonic themes of all time. I decided to liven it up a bit with some hard-hitting instruments to give it that "true final boss" feel, while sticking with the style of my previous Mania remixes.

After giving my original attempt a listen, I instantly realized how lazy of a remix that really was. All I did there was take the original genesis synths and then add effects on to them. Well, now that I'm fully aware of what I'm doing, and have developed an actual Mania-like style, I present to you, Sandopolis Act 1, with a hint of the "Tee Lopes" effect.
