Keen Owl est un projet numérique lancé en 2015 par un jeune producteur néerlandais qui a fait ses débuts en Dordogne (France). Au fil des années, il a eu l'occasion de jouer sur  divers soundsystems locaux : KN2S Kaya Natural Soundsystem, ADS Alternative Dub Soundsystem, SSF Sage Sound Family Soundsystem, RDS Soundsystem et a participé à divers événements tels que le Dub is Dub (33), Steppers United (24), Marmelade Party (23), Dub Party by Lucane Music (33 ) ou encore le Hemp420 Festival Digital Edition !

Régis Messac, écrivain français et militant pacifiste adepte de l'action non-violente, donne en 1936 dans sa revue Les Primaires cette définition de l’uchronie : « Terre inconnue, située à côté ou en dehors du temps, découverte par le philosophe Renouvier, et où sont relégués, comme des vieilles lunes, les événements qui auraient pu arriver, mais ne sont pas arrivés » !

La production du titre 'Uchronia' par Keen Owl est l'aboutissement de ses aventures Bordelaises en vogue avec le Kaya Natural Soundsystem... Ses prochains sons seront sans aucun doute plus organiques, s'étant installé loin de la ville, aux milieux des chênes et des hiboux... Une autre vie, un autre temps !

The producer Keen Owl is one of the most French Dubmaker in the Netherlands. He has just signed on the Culture Dub Records the tune ‘Uchronia' and its version 'Dubchronia’. The Heavyweight Bass Dub Stepper will take you to another time, a powerful Dub to live differently, between two moons, between two worlds, and of course for Free Download, alternative Dub to write another History, mastered by Joss.B!

Keen Owl is a digital project launched in 2015 by a young Dutch producer who made his beginings in Dordogne (France). Steppas Records presents ‘Osaka Steppas’ Vol. 3, the third in a series of releases showcasing the Japanese underground dub movement. This edition features Osaka producers Hiroshi and Roots Masashi in collaboration with Spanish producer Ojah and well-respected UK singer Rudey Lee. The Osaka Steppas’ raw and unrelenting sound developed in the subterranean clubs of Osaka, a port city famous for its counterculture night life. Inspired not only by the sounds of Jamaica, but also drawing inspiration from UK and European soundsystem culture with enough bassweight to test even the toughest of soundsystems. Presented in a beautifully designed full colour sleeve inspired by the works of the legendary ukiyo-e woodblock artist, Hokusai. This release is not to be missed.

Side A features an earth rocker riddim from Ojah & Hiroshi, with conscious lyrics sung by the legendary Rudey Lee.

Side B features a much sought after dubplate from Osaka producer Roots Masashi, a deep, dark & mystical steppa.
