With the title track You Don't Know DJ Le Roi fuses super seductive TechHouse and most uplifting House vibes to a maximum ecstatic effect when multilayered, soulful female vocals meet killer stabs, glitzy synths melodies and thrilling, progressive bass sweeps, sending all punters' hands high up in the sky. High energy, anyone? Following up is Muuvin', another powerful TechHouse-affair exploring more sketchy and dangerous nightlife territories definied by growling, fever'ish basslines, tribal'esque chants and a spine-tingling main motif that's accompanied by more gooey, slowly morphing sub warps as well as functional, slighly oldskool reminiscing snare rolls for those who know. Finally Chris Wood & Meat come up with their Muuvin And Groovin Remix which takes things to a techier level with razor sharp hi-hats, bouncy metallic modulations and a rolling Munich Disco-style bassline perfectly complementing the tunes epic string coating and on point, trance-inducing synth works for a levitating dancefloor feel.

BPitch Control loves such strong and independent characters like Jesse Perez. The American label boss of Mr. Nice Guy Records embodies the modern old-school by blending Booty House with Miami Bass into this lascivious sound he calls Bump-N-Grind. After his „THOT EP“ from 2015, we’re happy the „dirty mastermind“ is back with another EP on BPitch Control. And „Cell Phones“ proves once again why Jesse Perez represents the real street sound of Miami. 

Its title track starts with his hip-hop drive of massive bass and even richer percussion, although „Cell Phones“ isn’t meant as a tribute to the technical progress rather than spreading a hedonistic message. Patrick Topping returns to Hot Creations with his 'Taking Libz EP' and demonstrates why his reputation carries such weight with three special tracks that act as a master-class in how to create music that will consume dance floors.

First up is 'Brayed' which takes the listener on a loopy and enriching journey, whilst 'Howk' is a classic foot-to-the-floor number. Concluding the EP is 'Taking Libz', the title track that sees Topping firmly hold onto his crown with this unstoppable cut.

i-D Magazine described Patrick’s style "that is characterized by punchy, chugging baselines that have become weapons in the sets of many a DJ." Started his career DJing at the club night Motion in Newcastle, he was quickly snapped up by Jamie Jones, for Hot Creations. Releases on the label and a residency at Paradise DC10 in Ibiza soon followed and 2014 saw him release ‘Get Beasty’, ‘Forget’ and ‘Voicemail’ featuring Green Velvet and concluded with a hattrick of awards including winning the DJ Mag Best Newcomer, Track Of The Season and Best Tune awards in their Best of British Awards.
