Hello friends, you may or may not have noticed, I'll be showcasing new music every day for all of October. 🥳❤️🎵👾

It's been another year of ups and downs for us all,
To keep heads held high and our momentum flowing, all we really need sometimes is something to look forward to each day, so this is my way of sharing some love with my community of fans and listeners.
Thankyou you all for tuning in and I hope some of you find some new tracks you love. I've started this month on the moody darker edge, but I'll be showcasing quite a range over the month, so look forward to some funky feel-good vibes to make you get up and shake it.

And did I hear someone say albums, yes .. .they are coming all for you guys available through Bandcamp at the end of the month ;)

Future Memory 079 - GMJ

It gives me great pleasure to share the first episode of my new monthly radio show "future memory" on Proton Radio!
the show is airing the first Wednesday of each month at 3pm US, 8PM UK or 7am thursday morning Oz (apologies to other timezones! haha)

For the first month i tried to produce something deep & hypnotic which would be a journey that would hopefully stand the test of time; i was a dj for many years before i began the production journey & i have always been captivated by hypnotic states through sound! Future Memory 04 - GMJ

My next guest on Ultra Sound is none other than the Australian virtuoso producer Maddy Hughes, a.k.a. funkform! Maddy, hailing from Cairns in far north Queensland, has been one of Australia's best exports, producing some super slick sounds over the years and it's safe to say he played a part in shaping the sound i produce today. More recently, his chilled productions are showing that he's not just confined to prog house but has a wide array of skills in producing excellent downtempo and electronica. With the "Synthesia" release on the horizon, including remixes from myself and GMJ Music, and his first major album release around the corner due out on Open Records, Maddy was a clear choice to have on the show.

This set is a true artist set. Completely fresh, 100% unreleased & mostly unheard productions from Maddy. A blissful journey of pure progressive lushness and a true representation of the Funkform sound. Sit back & Enjoy.

Gavin Griffin, also known as GMJ, has been a prominent figure in underground electronic dance music for over two decades.


Forging a successful career as a DJ, event organiser and producer, Gavin is a pioneering force in the Melbourne scene and has performed in all corners of the globe.


Playing alongside some of the world’s leading names in deep house and progressive, it was natural that Gavin would one day bring his passion for hypnotic soundscapes and deep grooves to the studio setting.


In 2007, the GMJ project was born and he has since released on iconic recording imprints including Proton Music, Replug, Sudbeat, Anjuna Deep, Particles, Parquet, Balance Music, Baroque, Balkan Connection, Iboga, onedotsixtwo, Open Records and many more.
