December lll is finally here! It's been a crazy year and there has been some set backs with production, but i'm glad it's finally out. The Japanese term "takotsubo" may refer to an octopus trap, but the Takotsubo syndrome, also known as broken heart syndrome, is a type of non-ischemic cardiomyopathy in which there is a sudden weakening of the muscular portion of the heart. It usually appears after a significant stressor, either physical or emotional.

The pathophysiology is not well understood, but a sudden massive surge of catecholamines such as adrenaline and norepinephrine (from extreme stress, depression, or a tumor secreting these chemicals) is thought to play a central role in it.

Takotsubo cardiomyopathy is called so because the left ventricle of the heart takes on a shape resembling an octopus trap ("tako-tsubo") when affected by this condition.

Christmas is not a festive period for everyone, sometimes, tragedies or murders can even happen during this time ; and there are a lot of people who spend the holidays alone. On the occasion of my last track released in 2020, I would like to tell you that if you are feeling lonely or suffering from anything (depression, anxiety, addiction, family problems), you're not alone.
