Known for his omnipresence in the UK underground breaks/jungle scene rught now, Mani Festo is a producer in demand. The Club Glow co-head is now making an outing on SweetBox, following a string of releases on E-Beamz, WNCL, Hooversound and more. Take a listen to his coveted breaks banger 'Cheatin', featuring a vocal that you'll almost certainly recognise. Make sure you check out his Dummy Mix, too. Described in a press release as "hazardously sour bangers!", two-tracker 'Toxic Waste / Warehouse 2.0' is proper rave material, and we're premiering the latter below. Amid a frenzy of breaks and relentless kicks, the track spirals into an acid belter, handclaps galore and arpeggiated madness.

Having just remixed Skream (omg), her style is exactly what we dig. In this remix jacking drums and classic synth chords form a solid foundation on top of a gritty acid bassline

‘Roxanna_Break_Stuff’ incorporates memories of acid bright neons, the ubiquitous smileys, baggy trousers and bucket hats. Pumping drums, funky synth work and a standout vocal edit makes this one a unique and catchy piece of rave music culture.

‘Roxanna_Break_Stuff comes accompanied with a remix by Japan’s rising UK garage producer Stones Taro, who's been featured lately in several places with his on target vinyl releases and precise DJ mixes.

A bit different one is ‘Takedown Request Edit’, which stands out as the deepest track on the release, keeping things eccentric in terms of the rhythm section while bringing in spacey pads to close out the record on a high note.

Purveyor of lovecore, fabba and cakebeat, bestie and all-round DJ-inspo Angel D’lite blesses Ritual Poison with her ‘Re4mat’ EP. 

‘Werk My Body’ is a swirl of feminine energy, empowered vocals blending with hardcore breaks and hyper bass, a four four switch warping temporally before the track drops again. Local Group return the remix favour from their own recent EP, slowing ’Werk My Body’ to a 140 emo-banger, trance melodies sandwiching a proggy mid-section, the bass bumping throughout. ‘R u Ready’ keeps the NRG and BPMs high, breakbeats rolling over booming sub and dubbed out rave stabs, the sexual charge of the female ragga vocal frank and unashamed. ‘Re4mat’ signs off, the hallowed B2. Drawing on rave anthems of the past, it looks boldly to the future.
