He is well known for his energetic to fiery sets and stripped-down club-focused productions. He boasts releases on world-class labels such as Dixon Avenue Basement Jams, Dark Entries, Super Rhythm Trax, Hilltown Disco, and others. His productions have garnered support from giants such as Paul Woolford, Andrew Weatherall, Dave Clarke, just to name a few, and has made guest spots on BBC1 and Rinse FM. Lock in for an hour of high-energy bangers that bring together elements of electro, rave, breaks, and more.

We welcome Scott McKay aka Fear-E, a Glasgow-based DJ and producer that as been on our radar for a long time, to the Killekill podcast.  
Having a long-time association as a regular DJ within his hometown’s club scene, Scott’s singular style of cross-genre club music and energetic to fiery sets, spanned into more appearances in various notable clubs around UK and Europe. 
With a spatial and deconstructive approach to music, Fear-E’s productions pitch soft and hard sonics to create stripped-down, club-focused tracks. His alter-ego music creations join smatterings of rave and pop-edits, aimed for the dancefloor. 
Aside from his multiple releases on awarded winning imprint DABJ (Dixon Avenue Basement Jams) he has released through labels such as; Dark Entries, Super Rhythm Trax, Don’t Be Afraid, Hilltown Disco, Avoidant, Shadow Child’s “Takeout” label, and Street Tracks. 
Fear - E has had various radio guest spots and plays which included BBC Radio 1 and Rinse FM. His productions have been supported by several artists including Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Paul Woolford, Skream, Leftfield, and Andrew Weatherall.

After a brief round trip across Europe for our DTS fixes, we return back to our homeland. Not in the name of Brexit, but in the name of allowing a true Clyde Shopping Centre legend and well known face, Fear-E (@fear-e), to soundtrack our next visit DTS.

Maker of the dopest tracks, Glasgow's Fear-E is a definite fav around here. Ever since i got sent a batch of his new tracks i pretty much did not stop playing them, as they're all really inventive and effective all at once, with menacing melodies and twisted textures. We have a running joke that people only film me playing when one of his tracks is on! but the reality is i only play his music, nothing else muahahahaha
part of the dixon avenue basement jams crew, this bb is also a very good dj who hops between the best stuff in any dance genre with ease and intent, but for this mix we asked him for a very specific thing, an intense electro mix - after hearing through the grapevine that he'd like to do make people robot-dance to the sounds of fast electro music more often. and, tbh, listen to this naivetape and hear for yourself how prepared he is to legit electrify dancefloors no pun intended. also he's such a sound, lovely person and that's... the best. 
ps - we asked him and he does not Fear E btw, he thinks it's actually a gr8 time but these days he avoids it. so yeah, just to clear the air.
