Misstress Barbara is back on her record label Iturnem Music with a timeless techno EP that features three of her hard-hitting tracks.

Hailing from Italy, but currently living in Canada, Misstress Barbara is an iconic techno artist, and one of the first female superstar DJs. In the late ‘90s and early ‘00s she was consistantly voted inside DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs, and decades later Misstress Barbara still plays headline shows all over the world.

Iturnem Music is her classic record label that Misstress Barbara recently reinvigorated to become the main outlet for her own productions, but she has also released music via other prestigious outlets ranging from Carl Cox’s Intec to Christian Smith’s Tronic.

She chose her DJ name due to being a perfectionist who is constantly looking to improve and refine herself. Hence the combination of “Miss” and “stress” used to create a satirical surname which reflects the fact she is always stressing about her music.

“Your Hands On Me” has hardgroove percussion layered with an uplifting melody and captivating vocals that add to the track’s hands-in-the-air vibe.

Shlomi Aber drops his latest ‘Limelight’ EP on CLR this February. He kicks things oﬀ with title track, ‘Limelight’, a boomy kick drum setting the pace while fizzing synths light up the airwaves, spoken words bringing a sci-fi feel to this strobe-lit classic. Aber then drops a broken mix of ‘Limelight’, scuﬃng the kicks and bringing a raw funk feel already picked up by the likes of Radio Slave, Josh Wink, Dave Clarke, Alienata, and more. Last is Shlomi Aber’s 'Riot,' an earth-shattering, pure techno sound with rolling drums and sustained chords that will lock dancers in the groove and slowly melt their minds.

Active since 1994, Be As One boss Shlomi Aber has brought his unique style of Techno to esteemed imprints such as Cocoon, Ovum, Nonplus, Figure, and CLR. Returning to Chris Liebing’s imprint, Aber follows his month-long Beatport chart-topping 2022 ‘Can’t Sleep’ EP and subsequent 2023 ‘Remote 101’ EP with ‘Limelight’, another versatile package of quality Techno cuts.

Founded by influential techno lynchpin Chris Liebing in 1999 and reemerging in 2021 after a five-year hiatus, Create Learn Repeat (CLR) has hosted a range of artists, including Dubfire, Flug, Bjarki, DJ Dextro, and more. It has also focused on developing newer acts in the scene, such as Risa Taniguchi, The Southern, and Klint.

Eric Sneo - Splish Splash

Emerging from Cork, Ireland, Feardia (pronounced Fard-ya) embodies a fusion of dark atmospheres, ethereal melodies, aggressive sound design and hard-hitting drums. 

The name "Feardia" translates to "Man of God" in Irish. This parallels with his given name “Gabriel” which shares the same meaning in Hebrew.

While Feardia represents a new chapter in his artistic journey, the figure behind the pseudonym, Gab Hydes, is no stranger to the music scene. With an impressive portfolio boasting releases on esteemed labels such as Armada Music and amassing over 50 million streams under his name.
