On this 6-track release, the producer extraordinaire has curated a versatile selection of beats that simply demand your attention. Drawing influence from a variety of different sources, this EP veers between industrial synths and minimalistic drum tracks all the way to straightforward jungle vibrations and afro-futuristic ragga vocals. Continuing the saga, Addictive Behaviour's Rotation LP spins round once again bringing with it a multitude of talent from across the globe. Previous iterations of the esteemed Rotation series have featured a mix of rising and emerging artists alongside AB faves and regulars. This fourth instalment doesn't break tradition, bringing with it an abundance of fresh new names alongside some very recognisable pseudonyms.

However the one vast difference in this year's offering is the size of the album. The Rotation roster has certainly grown year on year, but where past editions have featured between 8 and 14 tracks this year's offering will be stacked to the brim with an epic 26 brand new cuts curated from over 30 top drawer, future thinking artists who each bring their own unique blend to the table.

Rotation Four is a colourful display of varied styles showcasing an inspiring array of music making skillsets but all of which express that familiar Addictive sound and high levels of production.

Pushing through only the most cutting edge up and comers from Austria, the UK and Luxembourg, this forthcoming album showcases exactly what this label has to offer the contemporary drum & bass scene.

Packed with hotly tipped names such as Hexa, Mofes, Kidsonic and Envy, three tracks featured have already seen support from the likes of Noisia via their radio show as well as a wide range of DJ spins, with the Deep Within Recordings sound already infecting club spaces throughout Europe.

Envy’s ‘Exile’ is the first track to take centre stage and it features sweeping levels of white noise which suddenly cuts out to leave you fully enveloped within its percussive segments. ‘Mars’ by Half Ace then rolls through with a more sci-fi inspired intro, one which develops into weighty levels of sub bass and tapping hi-hats. Hexa’s ‘Solitude’ brings through the more stripped back levels which he’s become well known for, without losing any of its desired impact. Then Jak’s ‘Apothic’ follows suit, just as cutting amongst its crashing drum sequences. Kidsonic’s ‘Gunman’ features an immersive soundscape, whilst ‘Orders’ from Master Error concentrates on its pumping kicks. ‘You’ll Never Know’ from M:FX continues the ruminating vibes, meanwhile Mofes ’Panthalassa’ features switches which keep you on edge. ‘Duplex’ from Nysn, Offline’s ‘Infamous’, Sedax’s ‘Subframe’ and ‘Trainride’ from collaborative duo Sequent & Skruff each hammer home the signature sound of Deep Within Recordings, whilst doing so with their own twists. Then finally, Teej & Division pull the LP to a close, with an amalgamation of driving drums and a bassline which takes you out into the murkier depths.

As a package, the first release from Deep Within Recordings lets you know what they’re about. With more scheduled for 2020, the imprint is looking to quickly elevate itself to a position that most labels have spent years trying to reach.
