In memory of a long lost friend, Patås comes forth with a relic of a vinyl release in the name of that loved one, featuring one dreamy side in memoriam of the flesh, and one bouncy side for the spirit.

Title track starts it out in a lush and vibrant synthworld pairing up with a dubby techno groove, whole track foaming over with saudade, one part looking back in tears, the other going forward with a subtle smile.

ILU 2 MUCH takes a bit too much sweet emotions and conveys it into a restless standstill.

Flip the record over and you get two certified dancefloor scorchers in different trajectories. Bontelabo is a deep and trippy broken beat keepsake using only sampled guitar for its harmonic and melodic content.

Og så ? is a fresh take on a techno tool, constantly flipping and changing up the material around some good ol machine funk, a tune for all the serious clowns looking to get down.

The next podcast comes from Bass Commander, a Tbilisi-based artist and founder of the label Fear No System. Since 2022, he has been curating releases and organizing label parties, aiming to encapsulate the essence of old-school sounds. This mix was recorded at Left Bank x Fear No System on October 19, 2024, where he opened the night for Norway-based artists Anders Hajem and Kromoplastik.

Exactly one year after my 2024 release entitled 'Public Relations', I return with a collection of 15 new tracks that were produced between the middle of 2024 and early 2025.

This album, as with the last, relies heavily on the sounds of classic synthesizers/drum machines like Mono/Poly, MS-20, SH-101, Jupiter-8, Juno-106, SH-2, JX-8P, System 100, Juno 60, JX-3P, TB-303, Polysix, TR-606, OB-8, TR-808, ARP Odyssey, as well as some contemporary additions to my studio like Oberheim OB-6 Hydrasynth, System 8, MC-707, MicroFreak, Prophet Rev2, Novation Peak, Minilogue, SE-02, and Microkorg.

Through his mixes, productions, and events, Bass Commander contributes to the development of the independent music scene in Georgia and abroad. Starting with mechanic beats and laser-sharp percussion and moving through gritty techno and dub influences, his focus is always on creating an authentic old-school club atmosphere.
