Pan-Am Tracks welcomes DVS NME & Krypton 81 for its latest physical release, a 2xLP collaboration between the Electro visionaries. This ambitious project pays homage to the legendary Das Muster, a pivotal figure in the Electro genre, and promises a sonic trip that resonates with fans of the genre.
Both artists set the tone with intricate rhythms and analogue warmth, embodying the meticulous craftsmanship, and Avant-guard characteristics of classic Electro. Pulsating basslines and shimmering synths intertwine, creating a vibrant, futuristic soundscape. Continuation of the podcast series “Electro To The Masses” by Sergey Timoshov in the first independent music compilation. Including selected examples of the style, the compilation consists of 11 tracks that convey the spirit and energy of early electro, immersing the listener in sci-fi stories with a dark futuristic shade. Be careful, do not lose the connection in space and time when listening.

Each track of the compilation reflects the era of electro's ascent to the peak of popularity. Starting in the 80s, having separated from hip-hop, electro became an independent style, the sound of which formed the image of modern electronic music along with techno, house, acid and other canonical styles, while using a very ascetic set of instruments, for example, the familiar to many Roland TR-808, which became the hallmark of the style.

We are proud to present this release in our label's catalog and are especially glad to have become part of the Electro To The Masses distribution machine.

Arsonist Recorder - Vaxxer Remixes [Specimen Records]

Arsonist Recorder presents a selection of Vaxxer remixes from some brilliant electro producers, the brothers, and sisters of the Specimen Records camp. 

Its certainly been a weird year for sure, the title “Vaxxer” in 2020 was chosen back when I first saw this word popping up in some article, very early on in the Corona-saga. Who would have thought it would have become such a mainstay expression in our everyday lives hardly one year later. It has become yet another way to label people and put us into groups: “Vaxxers” and “anti-vaxxers”, another detail in the evolution towards a dystopia that is not happening in movies but in real day-to-day life.

Just a track name at first, we decided to use it also as the title for the whole EP which eventually was released in April 2020 on Specimen Records, and like anything virus-related it started living its own life, growing stronger as more DJ’s were picking it up: Dave Clarke, Solid Blake, DJ Stingray, Ralph Lawson, ADJ, to name but a few.

Now, a year ahead, it brings me great pleasure and honour to present these exclusive remixes and interpretations of Vaxxer, the artists involved are big inspirations and one by one true hero's of mine, most of whom have become dear friends in these difficult times. When these remixes started coming in, I'm in awe of the sonics that presented to me and I'm proud to present The Vaxxer remixes.
