Darren's dj career started in the late 80's. After receiving a tape that the first wave of Balearic boys had brought back from Ibiza in late '87, his musical world instantly changed. From there he and a group of friends caught the 'acid house' bug and started to put on small parties in their home town of Brighton. From there the scene, and Darren's interest in the music, exploded and the rest they say is history. In the early part of the summer of 1990 a record shop called Inner Rhythm opened its doors and Darren was offered the job of manager. He then established himself as a DJ and has played and been part of all and any of the significant clubs that Brighton had on offer from those days. 
Most of the mixes you hear on Soundcloud (and Mixcloud, where there are more) were recorded several years ago but still sound as though they were only recorded of late which makes them have a timeless appeal and can be listened to many times without the listener getting bored. More mixes due in the new year.
