The Rusty Steam Train Journey will set of in Marokko, travel all the way to India and Pakistan crossing Slavic countries on the way as well as most of the Middle Eastern nations. We will reach our destination in Spain and Marokko again after  2hrs and roughly 3 minutes. Enjoy the ride! It could get bumpy and wild at points, but so it'll be on a Rusty Steam Train.

INTERVIEW

How did you get into Djing?
In my hometown, we had an old garage where acts like Marcapasos or Gestoert aber Geil! used to play. That's, I think, where it had all started. I got highly influenced by that 2010 type of house music of them. 
Later on, while living in India, I learned to love all the colours music has to offer and got to know Deep House labels like AnjunaDeep (while coincidentally living in Anjuna, Goa LOL). 
The last tough to my music came to be through my work in the international sector and through that having had the pleasure to meet people from all across the globe. I love how House music can be so colourful with all the influences from the cultures that inherit our beautiful planet.

Where do you get inspirations?
I get most of my inspirations through Song Radios on Spotify and Tidal. I just randomly choose a song I like, open the Radio of it and just enjoy what the algorithm pulls up. Real gems could be found that way.

Where do you prefer to dj or to make music in general?
I love making music outdoors. Nothing more inspiring than a gentle breeze of the wind and the smell of soil and trees around you.

Did you have any specific thoughts about your podcast?
Nothing really but gratefulness for the opportunity. <3

What would you like to change in the music scene if you could? 
I would definitely create more safer spaces in clubs and other events related to electronic music. That includes for me to have food on sight, a place where our female DJ colleagues can have their kids being taken care of (also more parent friendly hours in the music scene) and I would definitely open up more spaces FLINTA-only. Representation also matters and that's why on top of that  I would book waaaaaay more female DJs.

What was your first record? 
That I have ever listened to and truly touched me? Some pagan metal from Corvus Corax.

What memories do you have of your music lessons? Would your teachers consider you in the music/ club industry today? 
Music lessons where quite difficult for me because my teachers continuously used to tell me that my voice sucks (looking at that now, doing vocals on my own productions, is quite soothing for the soul :D). I am also quite shy and being artsy in front of people scares the crap out of me. But behind the Dj decks, I can get sucked into the music and forget about all of that. I think my music teachers from back in the day would be suuuuper amazed.

What do you wish for in the future from your audience, the club culture?
More love on the dancefloor. Be aware, care and watch out for each other. Enjoy the music and get lost in it and forget about your phones and the outside world. Dance and take a moment for yourself with yourself.
