Last year rationale released what I reckon was the song of the year and then improved it when he covered it for BBC Radio 1's "Piano Sessions". This immense, soulful track was a favorite I was desperate to slot into my sets which is how this re-edit came about, taking the best of both songs to build a song for the dance-floor/beach. Do yourself a favour and listen to the original and cover if you have managed to miss it, his vocals are huge.

"Anything Goes" is a burning tropicalypsodisco rythm to melt your ice cold winter hearts. Centered on the powerful story of how human ingenuity took the ordinary steel drum, for holding oil, to a cultural phenomenon that was the pride of a nation. the track is equal parts samples and live instruments with synths, pianos, slaps of the bass, the rolling waves of Port Phillip Bay and of course our star, the steel pan. "Anything Goes" carries on the tradition its protagonist; quality music from junkyard means.

In Anticipation of the Presets new album dropping in May and celebrating 10 years of their greatness, Feather Touch has focused his attention on their single 14U+14ME to release his first remix in a year.

A more laid back groover than the original banger, the song throws back to the dawn of the great Australian band. This tune fuses the sounds that dominated the 2000s to deliver a cheeky little ode to the Pub Techno kings of Australia. The tune shows off Lachie David’s multi-instrumentalist credentials and programming with his favourite collaborator Haxx on mixing duties.
