The Song is a soulful mix of eccentric, effervescent indie electro rock with rumbling percussion  and shades of Vangelis’ - Bladerunner producing another warm Featherest combination of classic futurism.
Once again strong vocal performances from the male - female combo of Featherwest bring fire to lyrical content of love messages written inside encyclopaedias, overlaid with ghostly images of the ocean, shaping of wooden ships and a wedding veil that never will reach the alter.

A textured, playful electronic/organic mix. Live, the delivery is smoky and atmospheric with big bass. With lyrics that respond to use of the word “baby” in pop music, Featherwest proudly go for the literal meaning, showering the subject matter in colour with a pinch of humour.

With the first release of a fresh batch of Paul Savage (Chem 19) produced recordings in the lead up to album drop; Featherwest showcase Honey Bee an airy electronic ballad with expansive live drums, a layered metaphor of Flower - Bee symbiosis and words to an estranged partner as facade to a deeper symbolism around to Scottish indie-ref themes. The release is marked marked by a homecoming headline at glasgow’s headquarters of taste The Glad Cafe.
