Many thanks to Richard Brooner for this beautiful backing track, titled ‘Harvest’, which is provided for free download over at the Flute Haven website, and my thanks to flute maker Kuzin Bruce for the fine instrument I played in this recording, a Gm Native American style flute made from African mahogany and paduak.

The recording happened seemingly of it’s own accord. This was only my second ‘take’ playing along to the track, but it was one of those rare occasions that something special flowed through me, flowed from the flute when I hit the record button.

I wasn’t going for any particular feel when I played, but I decided to name the finished track ‘Loss’ as the overall feel seemed to be so melancholy. I’m quite an optimistic person but I do love very minor-sounding music :)

Hello! I’m an NAF enthusiast hailing from the UK, and have been playing for several years. I don't find myself on Soundcloud all that often, but I very much appreciate the kind comments and follows I find when I do happen to drop by and upload some playing! :)
All of my recordings are done using a Zoom H2n recorder and the audio is then edited in Audacity. I'm learning as I go, but hope my audio editing skills will improve with time and practice!
