Febrij is one of our eccentric talents based out of Cartagena, Colombia, a city notorious for its endless day parties and flocks of boats on idyllic beaches. His career has been marked by residencies in some of Cartagena’s most sought-after clubs - Dante Bar for one - but has not been limited to only brick and mortar venues. He has performed in the open air of remote beaches surrounding Cartagena and even tackled other elements on private yachts. As he caters to the musical needs of the most lavishly festive, up and coming party scenes in South America, Febrij understands the perks of living in a city that is both culturally vibrant and touristic. This combination boasts one of the wildest spots for music enthusiasts of all ages who migrate to the coastal city with the hope of catching a glimpse of such an extroverted lifestyle. When he’s not “immersing people to a different experience on the dancefloor,” Febrij stays close to the limelight, producing by day and promoting/performing by night. 
This week’s scrutinized talent dabbles with (Techy) House and Dub Techno, although his sphere of interest is hardly limited to these genres. The in-demand DJ must stay on the ball in order to keep tune with his heavily diversified fan base with ever-changing tastes. He manages with ease as he makes a point of engaging with his followers; after all, each one of his shows is simply an exchange between his audience and himself. This interactive energy is only amplified through his kick-ass musical arsenal, always leaving his crowd amply satisfied. 
When asked about his influences and inspirations, two names in particular sparked the talent’s mind.  The first, Marco Carola, was an early protagonist of the 90s electronic music scene who brought Techno Napolitano to the world. He followed with praises for Ricardo Villalobos, an inescapable point of reference for many of the South American born techno/minimal music lovers. Although he has yet to achieve the same international acclaim as those who have paved the way for all DJs sprouting from the Latin scene, Febrij is dedicated to furthering his career for energy packed crowds. His determination and track record suggest that this isn’t the last we’ll hear of this ‘Waxer’ as he has only just begun his ascent to the global scene.
