Miami Based Bonilla Drops Four House Heaters On Whoyostro
The prolific trajectory of Miami based Bonilla continues into the last breaths of 2022 with an animated four tracker on the anticipated Whoyostro label. “You Make Me” explores dynamite house territory, with classy minimal textures.
The EP ignites with the title track “You Make Me”, a chugging six minute trip meandering between stripped back structures, and sleek vocal samples spreading positive energy throughout the club, leaving you with a definite ear worm. “I’m Yours” addresses more direct energy, driven forward with a punchy drum arrangement, and rugged mechanical movements. “Don’t Go” is formed upon an irresistible elasticated groove which takes you for an instant walk through the powers of Bonilla’s sound, dreamy pads work their way around the heart of the track. Proving his versatility is “So Much More” raw and organic drums leading you into a path of feel good vibe, nodding towards the warmer months we all yearn for - think festival afternoons in the sun with amazing people around you.
Bonilla closes out what has been his finest year to date with this dance floor friendly package, clean grooves and perfectly executed samples making this a well rounded EP.

TBX Records continue with a new release, coming from Buenos Aires's finest, Lucio Agustin. Lucio is well-known at Buenos Aires parties, bringing his own sound wherever he goes, and this brand-new EP called 'Ubuntu' clearly illustrates the inspiration that has allowed his sets to develop. The EP's primary track is built on a tight drum beat, and as the bass drops, it transforms into a pretty excellent groover. The synthesizers provide a special touch, while glitchy effects create a quirky atmosphere. 'Chalenge Myself' comes next and showcases Lucio's distinctive bass, which is unique to his sound and will continue to be the driving force in his tracks. The track nicely sums up its underground house style, catchy vocals, and 808 drums. 'Prophecy' takes you on a journey with the ideal use of snares and toms on the build ups, well supported by a bouncy bassline and the large jazz chords in the breaks. This combination accurately describes the feeling which Lucio were seeking to generate on the dancefloor.
