Spaniards Bastian Bux & Baum have been appearing everywhere from London to Las Vegas, Ibiza to Amsterdam for many years. They are versatile producers who between them have landed on key labels such as Cocoon, Repopulate Mars, elrow and many more, always with a floor-friendly take on house music that is packed with character as well as potency. For this landmark release on Edible, they drop a fresh two-track EP of the utmost quality.
First out of the bag is the stylish ‘About Us' which immediately feels big. A looped intro works its magic building the anticipation before a big drop and rolling groove will set the dance floor free. This tune has already been massive for Eats Everything who has been road-testing it to great receptions everywhere. The pair then showcase a different house sound on the superb ‘Mad’, which has high impact and jackin house flavours reminiscent of the great boompty king Derrick Carter. Squelchy synths, groovy bass and punchy kicks all make it a truly classy club weapon.
This is a suitably standout new EP to mark this significant milestone for one of contemporary electronic music's most influential labels.

Jamie Jones’ Hottrax readies their brand-new Various Artists EP series 'Tripleution', set to feature long-time Hottrax affiliates and brand new artists alike, adding to a discography that already boasts the likes of Patrick Topping, East End Dubs, Yousef, and many more alongside Jamie Jones himself. Landing this September, the first part of ‘Tripleution’ features Qubiko & Denis Ago, TacoMan and Sound Process, giving an essential look into the label’s high-quality catalogue. 

Italian duo Qubiko & Denis Ago deliver a mixture of house and minimal styles for their cut 'Danzer', with deep layers of sub-bass penetrating its percussive hooks. 'Arriba Abajo' sees TacoMan, a previous Hottrax visitor, build this futuristic track around revving synth levels and patches of grooving beats. Lastly, Sound Process comes with 'Dizzy Nights', pushing through distorted, dreamlike vocals which merge with an unrelenting, weighty bassline, leaving the EP with a continuing impact.
