This podcast was recorded during a roundtable at BIAC in January 2023 (Biennale Internationale des Arts du Cirque, Marseille (FRA)). It was organized as in the context of the European Project SPEAK OUT, aiming at preventing all kinds of discrimination and gender-based violence in the circus sector.

This podcast was recorded during a conference at FiraTàrrega festival (ESP) on September 6, 2024, in the context of the European Project SPEAK OUT, aiming at preventing all kinds of discrimination and gender-based violence in the circus sector.

3 years after the start of the 'Balance ton cirque' collective, what is the state of play? The European project SPEAK OUT, led by FEDEC - International network for professional circus education, is putting in place a two-year program of activities and training designed to equip the sector to be more caring and inclusive and to combat sexist and sexual violence. But is this enough to transform a sector? What impact will it have on institutions? And what repercussions will it have on the artistic form?
