Kiasmos mark their return in 2017 with a new 12” EP titled Blurred — available worldwide on October 6th via Erased Tapes.

Since their 2015 Swept EP, the duo have been performing shows extensively across the world. After writing and recording together in their native Iceland this year, the pair will be bringing a glimpse of light to a particularly gloomy time of year as their light sounds are brighter than ever.

￼“Stimming was one of the reasons we started making four-on-the-floor music and we have been listening to Bonobo since we were young, so it was a great honour that they wanted to contribute remixes for the EP.” — Ólafur Arnalds

￼The EP closes with remixes from British producer Bonobo and German electronic musician Stimming, taking tracks Blurred and Paused into different coloured realms.

The cover art featuring the iconic Kiasmos symbol is by long-time Erased Tapes collaborator Torsten Posselt at FELD.

Federico Di Gangi classe 1997 nasce  in una pittoresca città del sud Italia, dove cresce  e inizia a muovere i suoi  primi passi musicali  prima di trasferirsi  a Roma dove attualmente vive e frequenta  il Conservatorio Santa Cecilia.
Fin da piccolo ha avuto un particolare feeling con i tasti del pianoforte seguendo lezioni privatamente e in seguito partecipando a vari concorsi dove riesce ad ottenere tantissime soddisfazioni. 
Federico crescendo è sempre alla ricerca di nuove sonorità, grazie all'aiuto di un suo familiare appassionato di musica, che si avvicina al mondo della musica elettronica non commerciale in quanto differente dai soliti canoni.
Ben presto dopo varie ricerche e ascolti musicali  sente l'esigenza di iniziare a produrre musica elettronica. Acquistato il suo primo  synth e varie drum machine  Federico inizia a passere i suoi pomeriggi a creare e sperimentare nuovi suoni .
È il 2015 quando pubblica il suo primo Ep. e Viene subito notato da una label londinese "Until The Morning Records"  che affascinata dal suo sound decide di pubblicare da prima una sua track su un V.A. e successivamente un suo EP. 
Ultimamente nonostante essendo molto impegnato nel lavoro in studio  per il suo nuovo EP trova sempre il tempo per proporre i suoi djset aggirandosi  tra le consolle del Rashomon Club di Roma e quella del Crop of Music dove vanta una residenza.
