After the recent chart topping success of "Chakra Khan" (together with our label manager Pedro Mercado feat. Jay Davi) we proudly welcome Yves Eaux back to Chrom Recordings. This time accompanied by his fellow Dutchman producer Nick Vale. Yves Eaux is known for being a versatile DJ and producer. And his new Chrom EP showcases this perfectly. The EP is called "Elevation" and contains 2 original super catchy summer tracks, which fit nicely within the Organic and Progressive House genre, but will definitely appeal also to those who dig Melodic House and Indie Dance as well: dancefloor oriented and with a creative outlook on the genres! This release comes with outstanding remixes by Azpecialguest from Denmark's capital city Copenhagen and Messier from the USA. In the beginning of this year Messier appeared already on Chrom as part of his duo project No StraiN (together with EZEK). Since then he released on labels such as BeatFreak, ICONYC, MIR, Dear Deer,... He turns "Elevation" into an epic Progressive House masterpiece. Also our second remixer is no stranger to Chrom, on the contrary: his Chrom track "Concorde" from one year ago is one of our best sold tracks on Beatport. Since then Azpecialguest appeared also on Krafted and ICONYC Noir, and became an in demand dj in the best underground clubs of Denmark and Germany. Azpecialguest adds a genius Indie Dance touch to the second track "Beyond Earth".

PREMIERE: Yves Eaux, Nick Vale - Elevation (Messier Remix) [CHROM RECORDINGS]

Argentinian duo Abity make their return on Manual Music's MNL subsidiary with an excellent two-tracker, featuring the songs 'Lacar' and 'Rusty Soul'.

'Lacar' is a mysterious slow moving track built on the foundation of a relentless kickdrum and a deep oozing bassline. It's gradually builds up, adding more and more subtle melodic layers. An outstanding piece of work!

'Rusty Soul' sounds a bit more "classic prog" with its uplifting and rolling production trickery in combination with delayed synths and samples. Classic sounding, but with the trademark Abity vibe going on. An essential dancefloor weapon!

The fourth and final remix EP for Francesco Pico's Perpetual E-Motion album marks a fitting conclusion to both the album's series of remixes and to 2024 for his own label, Magnitude Recordings. This special release brings fresh energy to two standout tracks from the album, presenting reimagined versions crafted by Yonsh and F-Act and Allan McLoud.

Yonsh delivers a powerful reinterpretation of Starting A Little Ruffer, amplifying the track's dark, driving energy with textured layers and a punchy groove that gives it an edgier dimension. Yonsh's remix retains the original's pulsating bassline while adding hypnotic melodic flourishes, transforming the song into a true dancefloor experience that stays true to the progressive spirit.

Meanwhile, A Hat Tip To The Great Alexander gets a distinctive twist from F-Act and Allan McLoud. Their remix infuses the track with atmospheric pads, lush synth layers, and deep, rolling bass that elevate the original's reflective mood. Balancing melodic depth with a driving rhythm, this remix brings out new emotive qualities that make it as engaging on headphones as it is in a club setting.

This EP not only celebrates the artistry of Perpetual E-Motion but also serves as a memorable final release for Magnitude Recordings in 2024, highlighting Francesco Pico's impact on progressive house and his support for innovative artists in the genre.
