Le groupe franco-écossais signé chez Tigersushi est né de la rencontre entre Frédéric Soulard (producteur pour Poni Hoax) et Mark Kerr (batteur pour les Rita Mitsouko ou Discodeine). 
Ensemble, ils ont donné naissance à Mountains of Madness en 2015. Trois ans plus tard les voilà de retour avec un nouveau membre, Antoine Boistelle (batteur pour Vitalic) mais surtout avec un album nommé Monkey Business. Avec ce nouveau disque, Maestro continue à mélanger les styles et évolue entre pop, techno, rock, etc. Pourtant dans ce tourbillon d’influences, le groupe arrive à trouver une réelle harmonie. “Harmony“ est d’ailleurs le titre du morceau d’ouverture de Monkey Business. Une chanson qui résume parfaitement l’esprit du disque, entre hymne pop et tuerie du dance-floor, et dont Yuksek délivre ici en exclusivité un parfait remix pour vos soirees d'été.

PREMIERE: Maestro - Harmony (Yuksek Remix) [Tigersushi Records]

Amnesia royalty Mar-T partners up with Italian Luca Donzelli once again as the duo deliver their ‘Panzadelic’ EP on Roush, accompanied by a remix from Amsterdam’s Onno. A resident at Amnesia since 1999, and the venues creative director, Wow! Recordings boss Mar-T has been a central figure within the islands ever increasing scene for over 20 years. With releases on the likes of Hot Creations, Cocoon and Moon Harbour to name just a few, the Barcelona born producer is undeniably one of the most influential names in the game, leading to many advocating him as one of the last ‘real DJs’ of Ibiza. Luca Donzelli is another artist with a rich history within the White Isle’s Amnesia venue, with regular appearances across the past three seasons whilst also gracing the decks at Ministry Of Sound (London), Space (Ibiza) and Razzmatazz (Barcelona). As regular collaborators, the duo have released material on the likes of Sanity, 8Bit, Mindshake and Do Not Sleep, and September will see them add Roush to this impressive and ever-growing list. Donzelli and Mar-T’s title track ‘Panzadelic’ kicks things off and keeps the focus firmly on organic percussion elements whilst also working in funky guitar licks and male vocal hooks to great effect, before ‘Funkadisturb’ sees spiraling atmospherics and infectious vocals go to work amongst a mix of groove-driven drum licks and slick metallic percussion arrangements. Last up, Amsterdam’s Onno provides his interpretation of ‘Funkadisturb’, reinforcing the original productions snaking drum work with a series of hefty kicks, driving sub bass and skipping hats to punctuate the package.

Federico Scavo was born near Florence in Italy. Inspired by the art and culture of his surroundings, he showed talent from an early age as a musician, composer and producer.
Driven by results, Federico spends his life working in the studio and devoting himself to his passion of djing. His remarkable talent has attracted the attention of artists such as Kaskade and Pete Tong, who choose his tracks for their sets in the best clubs around the globe.

He sits down in 1994 to compose “This is the night” - his very first tune with New System, which soon becomes an international success, achieving Platinum status in Canada where sales reach 400,000.
In 2002 “Another brick in the wall” – officially approved for release by Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters – is another worldwide success, winning him a “Disco D’Oro” in Italy for selling 28,000 copies.

Not long after that, Federico applies his golden remix touch to tunes by world famous artists such as Bob Sinclar (“A far l’amore”) and John Acquaviva (“Wiki Leaks”) In a September 2012 interview Bob Sinclar recently, when asked to name the djs to watch – the ones to bet on – answered ‘first and foremost Federico Scavo.’

In 2011 the release of “Strump” marked a seminal point in his career. The track became one of the most popular in Italy, notching up 3,000,000 viewers across Youtube channels and making it to number 3 in the iTunes sales chart.

As his own record label Area94 continues to boost his popularity on the international scene, his productions are increasingly in demand from high profile labels such as Hotfingers, Pacha recordings and Toolroom, with whom he has signed a long-term collaboration - becoming part of the “home artists”.

“I DO” on Toolroom is supported by Tiesto, Kaskade, Erick Morillo and Roger Sanchez. And Federico Scavo "Aniba" has been included on RELEASE YOURSELF 12 by Roger Sanchez who often invites Federico to be a guest on the Release Yourself radio show.
Most amazing of all are his dj sets. Federico plays his own tracks – remixing and mashing in his studio so that each dj set is unique. He describes his own style as: ‘…house but a bit funky - winking at the most innovative and contemporary electro - eclectic with some references to the 70s, combined with some sexy tribal…a blended sound dressed with effects’.

To keep himself fit, Federico travels throughout Italy blessing the best clubs with his sound, while on the international scene he has played in clubs such as Nikki beach Miami, Toolroom night @ ADE, Pacha in Sharm El Sheik, Kos on the island of Greece, Space Menorca, Five Sixty Vancouver, Shore House Moscow.
