there is a bird that carries straws on a branch every day to build a nest.
slowly the refuge becomes reality and lays its eggs there.
but a rat climbed the tree, devouring them and there was nothing left of that family.

shattered shells, bitten fetuses and the condolences of those who wanted to build.

then came the covering snow, which it hid, and then became mud and mush.
but at first everything seemed soft and fairy-like.

I had heard a promise: if I followed Jesus the Savior I would walk in grace... but not in this life.
I understood too late that it was necessary to expel the merchants from the temple.

I'm bleeding now, or at least I think so.
I lie on a floor that is not mine, after a long fall.

-where did this precipice begin?-

I remember deceiving a girl:
of having sworn eternal love, children and poems to her, when in reality I felt nothing.

-why did you do that?-

I also wanted to believe in Love and in Jesus the Savior, but it was a lie.
then I became greedy for her love: limitless, pure and obsessive.
and I raised the stakes, repeating every promise he made, until an impostor began to live in my place: made only of words.
and empty inside.
a rampant void that would eventually break the margins and devour everything.

-why were you so hungry for love?-

I remember kneeling at your feet, declaring that I had looked for you at night among cool high-altitude rooms,
while you hid behind a dried-up dam;
and my love suffered from rain,
melting the shackles that held you in the sands.
the storm of our feelings was such,
who dragged you to heaven,
up to my arms,
where we rested forever,
like a single breath.

But what do we care about living,

and let's pretend we know how to dance life,

a little undecided,
