Catalina Patiño, Aka CATA, From an early age, she developed a deep passion for culture and electronic music. Originally from Armenia, (CO), in 2016 she became part of the creation of Aftermath in Bogotá.

After several years working as a curator and music selector, the concept of CATA was born — an artist who blends converging sounds between house and minimal.

Her career took off by performing at some of Bogotá’s most iconic venues, including Video Club, Latora, Royal Center, Mad Radio, Octava Club, and Radio Estrella. She has also showcased her talent in other renowned clubs across Colombia, such as Sala Kbron (Cali), Salón Amador (Medellín), Casa Cruxada (Cartagena), Subterránea Club (Barranquilla), and El Río Hostel (Buriticá).

These performances have allowed her to share the stage with world-class artists, including Ricardo Villalobos, Traumer, Franco Cinelli, Green Velvet, Richy Ahmed, Archie Hamilton, Adana Twins, and many more.

Her unique musical style has also earned her a spot at one of Colombia’s most prestigious electronic music festivals: the BAUM Festival.

Starting his activity back in 2006, Gruia has built a substantial discography with releases on major labels such as VIVa MUSiC, Trapez, Clarisse or Circus Recordings and a frequent presence in relevant electronic music charts based on tracks like ‘The Ritual’ or ‘No More Drama’.

Over the years, Gruia’s sound has steadily evolved into a more refined and focused blend of subtle textures and intricate grooves. Exploring his recent musical endeavors, you will undoubtedly come across interesting and sometimes unexpected soundscapes always underlined by infectious rhythm sections. His latest remixes are evidence of this aesthetic transformation and his new ‘Some Kind Of Heaven’ EP released exclusively on vinyl by Sonet Music is the perfect showcase of Gruia’s vision in the present.
