Originally spreading his electronic wings from Bucharest’s notorious Tei neighborhood, our next guest in Underdogs series is currently based in Copenhagen, DK being a multivalent figure in electronic music scene for more than a decade.

A genuine 360° club culture literate, Alin was involved in Culture Box project from Copenhagen since 2015 taking various roles throughout the time but also taking the decks at various venues like Råhuset, Hatten Bar, Jolene, Under Bron in Stockholm and also other gigs in France, Sweden, Germany, Romania sharing decks with big names like Edward, Andrea Ferlin, Zip, Barac, Priku, Steve O'Sullivan, Martinez, Spacetravel.

Past period he devoted his time to Kune Festival in Copenhagen - a festival he founded, taking place in an insane fort island just close to Copenhagen that has the mission to gather a team of seemingly different people, culturally and ideologically, coming together, united around music, with the intention of creating a space for others to explore and experience, a space which would add value to people's lives through its vision; harvesting Scandinavian underground scene since 2015.

Many, many things to mention about Alin, in the end we will present to you his music vision within this podcast.

Although you would be forgiven to think he was a veteran of the minimal/stripped back house and techno scene because of his incredible line of stunning releases and remixes already released. Under his aliases of Egal 3 and Vid he has music on Memoria, EDEC, Pleasure Zone, We Are, Broquade, Do Easy Records, Genial, Fear of Flying, Kina Music, Karton, and his own vinyl only imprint An|dromeda. At his young age he has already collaborated with big artists such as tINI, Livio & Roby, Anthea just to name a few. As a producer he is already at the top of the mountain, but also as a DJ he is starting to make a name for himself. He developed a unique sound as a DJ influenced by his Romanian background and has travelled to almost every country in Europe in the last last year playing alongside all the big names

The seventh instalment of GH Exclusive Mix comes from David Nicolas, part of the tight and vibrant Mannheim group  – the Robert Johnson crew.  

With an energy that has already positioned him on the radar of many crowds and dancefloors, David (previously half of the Sedee duo) spent years engrossed in club culture before making any steps toward playing music, and it’s tempting to see his mixing and selections skills as reflecting that step he’s taken out of the rave.

Throughout the 2 hours and a half, the exclusive mix carries a yin-yang of bright, gleaming melodies rhythms colored by rave influences, encompassing an overall loose feel you’d expect for a home listening. Its carefully-wrought sound design is paired with varying approaches to rhythm,  peppered with emotive synth smears and seldom vocals.
