The duo of Burudu started quite unknowingly. Hailing from New Dehli & Mumbai in India, Nakul and Sahil began working together in 2012. By combining their history and their musical experiences, the pair gradually formed a unique sound. Mating grooves with dissonance, fusing unusual pulses into soundscapes, the combination of their sensibilities allowed them to follow the higher idea of natural mixture and convolution, and to continue to create something, yet unknown. Their evolution was highlighted with previous releases such as their triphop-oriented album from 2017 - Ditties or their more recent single 'Trading Noises’.
As sign of continuous growth, Burudu once again showcases talent in finding new sounds and creating the unusual twists that are always welcomed in Moodfamily.  Recurrent ethnic melodies are layered alongside slow percussion in a devastating opening and title track. A playful piano lures you into 'Taken Granted' 's deceiving rythm and a smooth daunting melodic groove runs so deep in 'The Dust is Polite', the soul-crushing claps remind you to resurface, now and again...  Blessed with equal quality and expertise, 'Saviors' drags jungle rhythms over a looming foundation... A remix by Moodfamily member Harted draws the closing track to his comfort zone. So please settle in to Burudu's comfy and delicate couch. Glad to be home - with family.

Tidal Lock makes his storming debut on Differed with his Techno trip down memory lane, rolling out a sweet string on a fat bassline. The melodic journey continues with Thirtha Patil aka SHORE offering his energetic and dark elements as cut up rhythmic native instrumental parts and classic chord stabs keep things moving. Sahil Madaan kicking things off, funkified Afro driven banger packed with the smooth and sexy elements of soul and groove. Narrative - Feeling Flow

The Feeling Flow mix series asks DJs to share a recording of a mix of tunes that gives a personal insight into their go to tracks for feeling good and getting into the flow. 

There are no rules for feeling flow, the mix could be a selection of the music DJs may listen to at home during isolation to create a soothing and positive mood, a collection of favourite love songs, uplifting club anthems or an unexpected genre offering. It could be a recording from a previous gig, home session or live stream where all was flowing as an expression what a DJ loves the most - feeling good and being in flow! 

The aim of the series is to provide a platform for DJs to offer something personal and possibly different and unexpected during these strange times and also to draw attention to coming together to feel good and help others during the Covid-19 pandemic and beyond. 

Each mix upload will include a link to donate to the *FOOD FLOW* charity, providing food packs from local farms in the Western Cape to communities and families in need. We ask listeners to donate voluntarily to the cause.

The mix series will be uploaded to the Feeling Flow SoundCloud with personalized artwork for each DJ provided by Luke Stroebel. You just need to supply an image of yourself to go into the artwork - a mandala acting as a frame giving a nod to plants and growth.

The mix series will go live later this week once we get the first 3 mixes in to be able to upload to the SoundCloud page. You can submit a mix anytime from now going forward as we hope to continue to raise funds beyond the lockdown. Ideally it would be great to capitalize on the intense amount of time people are spending on social media and listening to music to get as much awareness and focus on the cause we are supporting. As this is a Cape Town based initiative we will be reaching out to local SA DJs primarily but the invitation is open to all internationals of course - please feel free to forward to anyone you think might be interested to donate a mix.
