Quickie from us: "Mikky Ekko is an absurdly talented writer and vocalist so when we had the chance to work on a track of his we were delighted. He brings this perfect blend of pop/mainstream sensibility and indie but strikes a great balance with his really unique voice and styling which is something we care a lot about... When we started producing the song we gravitated towards the more progressive sound, flush with big synths but wanted to pair it with a sweeping horn over the drop to give it this really grand almost orchestra feeling that gave it a unique feeling, almost cinematic in nature.... which allowed us to cater to the high energy of house but maintain a unique undertone which we put a lot of importance on with our productions ”

Lost Inside Your Own Ambitions

Breakthrough UK duo Tibasko are quickly establishing themselves as purveyors of an epic, highly melodic and unique sound that sits somewhere between breaks, house, techno and trance. Annie Mac has been a huge supporter over the last couple of years, which has led to plaudits from BBC Introducing, naming them in The Hot List of acts in August 2019 and number three in their Ones to Watch 2020 list.  
They’ve also been named by Kiss FM as Ones to Watch for 2020 and have had previous releases on notable labels such as W&O Street Tracks and Toolroom with DJ support including Denis Sulta, Hammer, The Black Madonna and many more.
Their latest is the ‘Only You’ EP, which lands on the Another Rhythm imprint: a label to which Tibasko are far from strangers having been a part of their journey from the very start. 


A two-track release, it’s a project that’s indicative of the duo’s unique blend of electronica. With a backbone of broken beats and elegantly intertwining synths, the ravey vocal and pulsing bassline combine to evoke an atmosphere that delicately balances nostalgic yearning and visceral punch. 
Tibasko’s ability to evoke intense, heartfelt emotions while never losing sight of the dancefloor is precisely what connects them so firmly to their audience, and the new release is another prime example of their impressive alchemy.

Belfast DJ and producer Richie Blacker joins Danny Howard's Nothing Else Matters this autumn with his debut single on the label, 'Hysteria'. Finding recent success on Skream's Of Unsound Mind, Sasha's Last Night On Earth, Eklektisch, Global Underground, Frequenza and Runnin Wild, Richie now gives us 'Hysteria'; a deep and emotional melodic rollercoaster that takes the listener on a journey from start to finish, showcasing his intricate percussive skills, hypnotic synth lines, warming atmospheric drums and vocals that ebb and flow throughout the near 7 minute masterpiece. A record that was written for the club environment but sounds equally as good listening at home!
