Lorenzo is a beautiful person whom I had the honour of meeting during my time in Bologna. This set represents the reflection of his feelings towards music, nature and people. It's like a mountain that seeks to communicate with your inner self and the music is the medium. He intricately maps his birthplaces (Dolomiti) and creates a hypnotic path with arpeggios and 909 bass kicks, leading to a limitless new reality. No words to describe the breakbeat moments, simply fabulous. Look forward to his tips at the end of the mix 😉

Personally, I deeply appreciate this set, as both of us understand the importance of conveying the profound influence of the natural environments we come from and the symbolism that envelops these places. Our common language is this music.

I met Cesárea Tinajero at Gleba 2K, an event that I co-organize with visual artists from the Italian scene. I was impressed by how they could improvise, blending rock and electronics into sonic storms where pure ambient meets free jazz and neo-psychedelia. Dark distortions and piercing strings collide with soaring drones, a punk and indie edge, or whatever you want. For the rest, the music speaks.

It’s been a while since I released my last mix. The last one was for bds, to give rise to this anthological mission. For years I’ve been researching, producing and exploring what electronic music wants to be, and to this day I have only one answer: Bass. It drains you, it moves something inside. You can’t quite explain it, but it reaches the soul. If that makes any sense, you transcend.

Wobcore is a mix I composed about a month ago. Its content might be familiar to many, since it includes tracks by other artists, but at the same time it’s universal, it's for everyone, it’s primordial and it’s within each of us.
To me, it’s where old school and new school meet, where sadness and bliss kiss, where fire and water merge. In short, it’s the balance I’ve found.

This mix was inspired by the work done with the friends and brothers from Gleba. In every track, there's a part of each of them, in every beat, their thoughts and dreams. I tried to merge mine with theirs and see what would come out.
