As always I did my best work on this project, so I'd love to explain to you what I actually did:

First I started with the melody. I love the original one so I didnt want to change it and only added the Una Corda, which is my piano of choice in almost every production due to its fine and warm sound it delivers with its single string mechanics. Great to have it.

Another important thing to mention is the first verse. I wanted to give it as much tension as possible to prepare the listener for the genre. At the same time I tried to give Vera's voice the harmonic backing it deserves. The result is a warm ensemble and those bass dominated vocal effects every fourth bar. 

Near the end of the verse I added parts of the drums. I thought that's an important step. Otherwise the transition to the drop probably would have been to hard. Without it nobody would expect a four on the floor beat in the drop. And I dont like my listeners to be too confused... ;)

Next step was to DROP THE BASS.
So the main contents are actually just the drums, the bass and the additional vocal I've added saying "rushing back". The goal was to give the listener a dry and pumping experience in transition to the warm and rich verses. The idea behind the "rushing back" vocals was to have a huge transition between the connection to Flume's original song and my remix. The additional vocal instantly changes the mood of the song. 

So, that's it. Remix is finished and I hope you guys like it!

[Behind The Track]

Welcome to the twenty-seventh release of Launch Records. This time we got CRÜPO with his song called 'Never Stop'.

CRÜPO created a future house track with some future bass/ electronic sounds combined. The song starts immediately with the vocals together with the piano chords in the background. Together with these elements, some mystery sounds are added. After a while, you hear more bass is getting added into the piano chords and vocals. On top of that, the melody of the drop is played in the background.

When the drop hits you hear a strong and clear melody-line. The sound of this melody makes the most iconic part of the track. At the end of the drop you hear again the vocals but only with background chords and the melody. In the second part of the track, CRÜPO made a totally different melody with the chords which gives a really good vibe.

In the second drop you hear a different melody but with the same sounds. On top of that in the second part of the drop, some violin play is added to give more atmosphere to the track. All these aspects which are used in the track make the track a real Launch release. We are very happy to have a release with this talented guy, we couldn’t wish for a better way to close 2019 with. This is CRÜPO with his first official release.
