Give Congo! by @mrnjoi a smell and it’s a bonfire, a distinct touch of African drumming, jungle breeze, dancehall, birch tar, and tropical bass. njoi, 18 years young, has already been getting support from 4B and Wiwek for his tunes. This Mexico City native started making beats since he was 10 and by 15 finished his first track. We can thank Sinden’s Bodytonic Podcast for his re-emergence into the scene along with counting Swick, Major Lazer, and Zombies For Money as his major influences.

With that end, the tune is suited for a party, fit for the (emoji prayer hands) hopefully soon to be warm weather. It doesn’t invite you to the dance floor; it demands you go there. Tropical music seems to be the nextbigthing and artists like njoi will get people talking about it.
